Demeanor: Vixrael is a very easygoing sort of person. She's more likely to help when someone asks than leave them be, although she has a sense of survival in mind. She is a caregiver at heart, but isn't afraid to be stern with someone if the situation calls for it.

Nature: Vixrael carries a lot of qualities that tend to place her in a leadership position- her tall stature, for sure, but also her commanding voice that she can refer to when she needs to, as well as her wisdom from living as long as she has.

Alignment: Generally Lawful Good, although not a hard and fast rule.

Habits: When not busy with the company, Vixrael enjoys sailing and fishing. She inherited her boat, a mid-sized fishing barge that she has no trouble piloting on her own, though that skill came about from necessity rather than desire.

Vixrael feels very strongly about mercenaries. She believes that 'blade for hire' is a cheap and slightly trashy way to do business, no better than begging for food. She is also highly against the concept of sleazy locales, believing that no good ever comes from them. Lastly, she's yet to meet an Elezen she could trust, so while the prejudice isn't strong, she still has a predetermined feeling regarding them.

Vixrael knows how to get things done; that is, if things need to be serious, she can turn on that feeling in a moment's notice. She's very compassionate to the thoughts and feelings of others in a way that makes her a great leader, as she doesn't like to discredit anyone on the basis of who they are.

Despite Vixrael's affinity for the things she knows-- her hobbies, as well as her leadership qualities, she's very easily going to feel out-of-place in strange situations. It takes longer for her to adjust to new situations than most, particularly in social situations. Being aware of this, she more often than not will just remain quiet rather than speak up, leaning on those with a greater understanding to pick up the pieces. She also gets flustered easily.

Tarkhan Dotharl ( ●≈ ) - As Vixrael's second-in-command, Tarkhan is a close confidante when it comes to matters that deal with the battlefield. As people, she's not sure where they stand. Meera Mol ( ●♥ ) - Meera is a sweet, young girl to Vixrael, though she seems to be more powerful than she lets on. Also, the Mol keeps ysing the word 'Khatun' and she isn't sure what expectation to live up to. Noqai Qestir ( ●≈ ) - Noqai is a nice enough person, and Vixrael respects that he doesn't speak, but she's just not entirely sure what to make of him yet.

History

History

Vixrael grew up with her father as a fisher and a cook, and ended up burying him at sea as he aged. Following his death, she sailed on her own, taking after his family business until she was struck by lightning. This event gave her the ability to manipulate the aether around her in order to train her black mage abilities, which landed her a position in the Maelstrom. Vixrael rose through the ranks and eventually retired at age 30 as a high ranking commander. She trained fledgling thaumaturges until one of them offered her a position as head of a free company when they needed to step away. She now balances her fishing and trade with her leadership position, but likes to spend her downtime relaxing and chatting.

I'm not here for either of us to get our rocks off- that being said, if you'd like to develop a relationship, ask me. Open communication is the key here. I love character development and telling a story. I'm also okay with mature themes in general, but let's gloss over some of the rougher things like hard gore / sexual assault / supremely evil actions. These things happen and it's not okay to outright ignore them, but we don't have to dwell on it.

You may be looking for instruction in thaumaturgy- Vixrael isn't as well-versed in funerary rites and similar, but she is able to teach and refine the concepts of drawing aether through your body to cast.
