X'khajirr (pronounced she-kah-jeer, or just kah-jeer) is a descendant of the Lynx tribe. He was born to X'ahlia Mahsa and the Nunh of that time. Two years after his birth, Ahlia and fellow tribesmen X'rahz Tia were exiled. It was decided that Khajirr would remain in the care of the tribe as it'd likely be in his best interests.

He never was one for violence or any type of combat, much preferring to care for others or stick his nose in a book. It was later discovered that he held a natural gift for manipulating aether and the tribe took every opportunity in fostering his budding talent.

Khajirr combined his bedside manner and aetherial skill into the lessons and responsibilities of a healer. He derived all he could from the teachings of his tribe and on his twentieth nameday he chose to strike out on his own in his never ending quest for knowledge. Before his departure, the Nunh and his surrogate mother halted Khajirr long enough to reveal the truth behind his parentage. Ahlia and Rahz had conceived together outside of Seeker tradition, which thusly earned them their exile and his subsequent abandonment.

At first he felt stung and betrayed, but those feelings later coalesced into understanding and appreciation. Despite Ahlia's err in judgement, she had given Khajirr a chance to flourish with a relatively clean slate, and in that he found thankfulness. He took this knowledge with him to his new home in Gridania with two goals in mind now.
