X'khajirr Tia

X'khajirr (pronounced she-kah-jeer, or just kah-jeer) is a descendant of the Lynx tribe from the Sagolii desert. He was born to X'ahlia Mahsa and the Nunh of that time. Ahlia's current husband, X'rahz Tia, is his stepfather. Two years after his birth, Ahlia and Rahz were exiled. A decision was made to leave Khajirr in the care of the tribe as they believed that would be in the kit's best interest.

And so he stayed where a surrogate mother looked after him. He grew up a happy and curious kit, always with a smile on his face or asking questions with an eager expression to learn. He never was one for violence or any type of combat, much preferring to care for others or stick his nose in a book. It was later discovered that he held a natural gift for manipulating aether. The tribe took notice of this, and fostered his nuturing behavior and budding talent.

Khajirr combined his bedside manner and aetherial skill, and devoted his studies into becoming a healer. He derived all he could from the teachings his family could muster, though it was upon his eighteenth nameday did he choose to go out in the world to broaden his lessons. Unable to lie no longer, the Nunh and his surrogate mother halted Khajirr long enough to reveal the truth behind his parentage. At first he felt stung and betrayed, but those feelings later coalesced into understanding and appreciation. With his roots settled in Gridania, and after having established himself with the Conjurers, he now adds on the endeavor of seeking those related to him by blood.

Particular Traits: Callouses and small knicks are evident upon his hands from years of carpentry, and the scent of incense lingers around him.

Clothing Style: Rugged and outdoorsy. He likes to wear earth-toned tunics and vests with simple trousers and a good pair of leather boots. Other items that can be found on him are: a book, a small pouch of gil, link pearls, various healing vials, and his staff.
