It's also very plain to see that she is -very- concerned with, or possibly even makes a hobby out of her appearance. Often dressed in fine silks, and other clothing meant for the dual purpose of comfort and plumage, Raena takes great pride in the way she looks both in the mirror, and to the public eye. Her eyes strongly represent the color of the forests she grew up in, her tribe making its home in the Twelveswood. There's often a serenity in those eyes that is said to be ever present, at least while in public. Catching her gaze is very likely to be met with a kind smile, and if you're lucky, maybe even a little wink. Jewelry, Scars & Markings: The only distinct piece of jewelry Raena is often seen with is a small, goobbue-shaped earring she seems to never be seen without. A practitioner of ranged combat, Raena fancies a fight that won't find her face marred or damaged beyond repair. She works rather hard at making sure her face is free of scarring and other unsightly blemishes. A Rose must keep her petals presentable, after all~ Voice: When Raena speaks, it's very easy, even for one of untrained ear to hear the light melodic lilt to every sentence, the seeker having a rather hard time "turning off" her love for song and music. Her voice is a mid to high alto, bordering on low soprano, though her vocal range is rather vast, compared to the average singer, thus enabling her to sing a wide variety of pieces, should the mood take her. Clothing: One of Raena's more defining features would very likely be her choice of clothing. At a glance, it would seem the woman spares no expense when it comes to the fine silks and well-made fabrics she dresses herself in, having been referred to by a small handful of people as a "Walking Work of Art". Kind, Calm, Curious, Open, Practical, Relaxed, Loving, Courteous, Passionate Likes Music Raena regards music as a gift from nature. The power of a song, or of a well-played instrument awakens feelings inside of her that almost nothing else in the world does. Many who see her perform, or even come to listen to a meaningful song will often see the Seeker tearing up a bit. Relaxation A creature of comfort, Raena enjoys relaxing as one of her more prevalent hobbies. She could easily be found in the most comfy couch, or the warmest bath of wherever she happens to be at any given moment. Passion Raena expresses herself fully in nearly everything she does. She delights in seeing someone enjoying whatever they're doing to the fullest extent of their ability, be it during a performance in front of an audience, or in more private circumstances, the woman is nothing if not passionate. Stories A good story can spur the world into action, in the Seeker's opinion. A well-spun tale can bring one person's experience, or even dreams to life in the minds of all who hear of them, if the spoken word is well crafted. Raena believes that everything in life has a story, and wishes to hear them all, some day. Dislikes Secrets A stark contrast to her love of stories, Raena has a distinct ire toward kept secrets. An open book in her own right, Raena believes that secrets serve no purpose but to alienate people from each other, and hide one's true feelings and emotions, among other things. If she's made aware that people are being secretive, or 'withholding' information, she generally regards them with a bit more distance than most. Laziness There's a difference, in Raena's mind, between relaxing, and being lazy. Raena will often attempt to put any effort she can into whatever it is she's doing at the time, while maintaining a sense of poise about her, but the sense that people around her, or even with her, are coasting on inaction while taking advantage of the actions of others will often sour her mood drastically. Silence Raena enjoys the sounds of nature, of music and of lively conversation. One thing she does -not- enjoy is the absence of these things. There's something about complete silence that sets the Seeker on edge, and thus Raena will likely never be seen in any space that's completely silent, or she'll be humming to herself if she is. Large Crowds Raena has spent most of her life in very small groups. Even growing up, her sept was not the largest group of people. However, when confronted with large, raucous crowds, Raena tends to feel a bit out of her element, especially if she's meant to participate in whatever's going on at the time. The seeker simply prefers a smaller group of people, though she's trying to improve herself in that regard.
