Character

General

Yukiko Yue, who prefers to be called Yue, is and always has been alone. His name meaning "Rare Child of the Moon" has been a mark of shame throughout his entire life. Though his features are more recognizable as a Keeper of the Moon, Yue was actually conceived by a secret love between a Seeker and a Keeper. Shunned by both of his parents tribe and seen as a poison to the tribe's societies, Yue was left as a young child out in the wild. With no one to look after him and no where safe to hide Yue grew up to be extremely independent, rarely speaking to anyone at all. When he was 14 years old Yue was ambushed by a pack of monsters and as he fled from the battle he stumbled through deadly poisonous pricker bushes which put him within an inch of deaths grip and has left a scar across his face. From his years in the wild, however, he had become adept at distinguishing all manner of flora and fauna throughout the land and was able to create a concoction to rid himself of the poison. He learned an invaluable lesson that day about the usefulness of poisons and from that day began training his body to reject nearly all natural poisons found in the world. In addition to this he began figuring out how to alter poisons to modify his weapons strength. Though they can never be seen, Yue is constantly carrying all manner of defensive equipment and is particularly fond of his poison darts which can immobilize nearly any person it comes in contact with.

Traveling the land Yue cared not for the troubles of others. His main focus was his own survival and as such he has been hired as a mercenary for many groups of unsavory people. He quickly became well known amongst hidden sects of thieves, rogues, and assassins who have given him the name "The Shadow."

Appearance

Long black hair with white streaks. Blue eyes. A scar on his face that serves as a constant reminder of his past.

Behavior

Yue is usually very quite and it is rare to see him ever initiate a conversation. He usually keeps to himself but is extremely insightful and observant of all around him. Though he's usually seen with some manner of martial weapon which he seems to use with unfathomable speed, his true skills remain to be seen.

Khuja Aliapoh

Though not actually confirmed that Yuki is related to Khuja, something about the way they interact with each other makes her feel very familiar to him. She is the only female he has opened up to, and really the only person in his company, Cerberus Industries, whom he trusts and has a friendly relationship with. He's opened up to her about his past including some visions he has of tribe life before he was abandoned and some of them seem to match up with moments of her past, though it cannot be said for certain if they truly did grow up in the same tribe. He continues to spend some of his time looking for more information about his past and his possible relationship with this interesting woman.

Friends

Onuma Ahntifi

Onuma is truly Yukiko's first real friend around these parts. He's not entirely sure what draws him towards her, but he has learned to open up to others through her compassion and understanding of his introverted personality. He met her during his search for a craftsman to help him meld some materials together and was impressed with her knowledge and aptitude with her tools. Since this day he has taken up to gathering herbs and ores himself as a way of paying respects to her understanding towards him. He frequently sends her letters checking in with her to make sure she's ok and has developed a fierce loyalty towards her and feels responsible for maintaining her well being.

Sebra'li Jinjahl

Seb is a complete anomaly to the way Yuki typically handles himself. For some reason there is a kind of electricity between the two that pushes Yukiko into portions of his personality that he had thought died long ago. At first he wasn't sure if he should take Seb on as a student since he doesn't do well with having people rely on him, and wasn't sure what Sebra'li's intentions were, but soon after taking him on as a student Yuki knew that he had made the right decision taking on this pupil. Now, several months later Sebra'li and Yukiko have become astonishingly close. They've expressed feelings for each other that Yuki has never felt before in his life. He finds himself wanting to be with Seb more often than not, and is thrown off and uncomfortable with his own romantic feelings towards Sebra'li. While these feelings are reciprocated, Yue is unsure of how to proceed given his propensity for being a loner. After quite some time of Yuki and Seb being together as both friends and lovers, things began looking up. Yuki had finally realized from the help of his friend that he was surviving through his life and not truly living it. This brought about an amazing change in Yuki making him open up more to the people around him, and helped him to see the benefits of trusting in others. After an unfortunate situation where Yuki realized Seb was already seeing, and engaged, to two other men he tried to remedy the situation by wiping himself out of Sebra'lis memory. With this he left his first friend, and first true love in the past and lives with the guilt of his actions every day.
