Beneath her right breast is a slave brand but she binds her chest so heavily and her visible midsection is so scarred it is often missed or unseen. She is slender, with very pronounced muscle though more built for speed and dexterity than strength. NPC Hakou Akagane ( ✖ ♥ ) ( NPC ) - Father Hakou was the caretaker and teacher of the Martial Arts Temple where Yuuko grew up. He died in the Garlean attack on the village. Genzou Akagane ( ✖ ♥ ♠ ) ( NPC ) - Uncle Genzou retreated after leaving his brother and family behind to profit off the sale of rare Doman goods later down the line. Kuni Akagane ( ♥ ✖ ) ( NPC ) - Mother Yuuko's mother, Kuni was a bow woman and another teacher at the temple. Her father and mother were often seen side by side and were well-known figures in their village. She died trying to protect Hakou against armoured Garlean forces. Faroux Belliere ( ♠ ♠ ) ( NPC ) - Master Some time after her capture, Yuuko was sold to the fighting pits. The fiesty and angry girl was soon brought under the heel of this cruel slavemaster, forced to endure starvation and crippling injuries right before a fight. Yuuko quickly learned to behave or else face further unfair disadvantages in the pits. The Nameless ( ● ♦ ) ( NPC ) - Him Yuuko's rescue came at the hands of a strange teal and blue-haired man. She never caught his name nor saw his face but she often remembers him to people; simply under the name 'Him'. PC Akihiko Misaki ( ♦ ♥ ) - Sakurou Akihiko was one of the children who attended afternoon lessons on self defense at Hakou's temple. Yuuko enjoyed something of a rocky friendship with the boy in their younger years but now often share adventures as survivors and comrades. Therron Basque ( ♦ ● ) - Ther-ron the Coward Often reticent to leap into battle, Therron has often helped Yuuko seek out her father's scrolls. The pair have talked about morality and strength, each imprinting something of themselves on the other.
