₪ Personality ₪

Agatha's personality is best described as calm, cunning, and charming. Prone to acting kind and taking an interest in people who seem misplaced Agatha will often start conversation and make forward efforts to getting to know strangers. Though she may seem kind Agatha's intentions are not the purest in nature or even slightly sincere. Those with high amounts of aether are often lead off to be sacraficed while any who seem uncertain about life she will try to brainwash into joining her cult.

₪ Combat ₪

Agatha wields a polearm in a combat style that is neither of the dragoon nor lancer. Agatha's combat style is more akin to dancing, her lance being spun and used to both mesmerize her opponents and deliver their brutal end should they be fortunate enough to die in battle. Agatha relies more on momentum and her nimble finess than raw strength, keeping her enemies at a distance and leaving few openings for them to get close to her.

₪ History ₪

Little is known of Agatha even to the woman herself; The parts that are known to her are fragmented and locked away in her memories, seldom discussed with anyone. Agatha was a spiritual leader in the Dalamiq tribe for many many years. None know how old Agatha is but it is said that she was given eternal youth under the light of the lesser moon. The truth is much less beautiful. Agatha would pick a young person, usually an orphan to be her lover every few decades. These young men and sometimes women would end up as sacrifices to prolong the Priestess' lifespan and youthful appearance. It is thanks to this Agatha has a youthful body and has not aged in a very, very long time.

When Dalamud was seen falling Agatha left her tribe behind and traveled towards the impact of the lesser moon, eventually ending up in Eorzea. Once in this new strange land Agatha gathered as much information as she could on what had happened and found this new land to be full of heathens and heretics who viewed the moon as nothing but machine. It was around that time Agatha vowed to raise the lesser moon, finding the Lambs of Dalamud and quickly becoming a priestess in their cult as she had been in Othard. Since then Agatha has sought to bring new members into the cult as well as sacrifice people with high amounts of aether to "raise" the lesser moon once more.

₪ Folklore ₪

Tales spread quickly of the murderous priestess Agatha. Though little was known about her the brutal style of her murders quickly earned her much attention as she butchered high and low-borns alike, leaving her name engraved on whatever parts of their body that she could, often writing in their blood on the ground or on trees. To Agatha killing is an art, a performance for the great god Dalamud itself and she the star of the performance.

In Gridania there are stories told of the woman in the woods who will appear as a lancer or woodwailer. Should you let her get close enough to see her red features there is naught to do but run and pray to Menphina for guidance. Similar tales can be heard throughout most parts of Eorzia of the Xaela with red features, makeup and a long polearm. These tales all advise against following her, especially outside the city. It is thought these tales are to discourage the purchase of prostitutes and is unclear if they are factual.

Though information is wanted on Agatha no one has caught her or been able to confirm her existence and so no wanted posters exist. Still to this day it is unclear whether the bloody priestess Agatha is real or simply a serial killer twisted by fantastic tales but even so there are still bodies found with her name written in their blood and every so often at these sites umbral aether will be present. ='/.
