Carter Forrester is an honorable thief who steals for the good of others. He spent much of his life on the wrong side of the law to help others, providing gil and protection to those who may require it, even if they are not the most respectable people.

Appearance
He is taller side at 5 fulms 11 ilms and normal weight focusing on agility due to his skills in archery and thievery. His hair is jet black and combed out of his face to allow perfect sight.
Behavior
Though he has seen rough times most of his life, he is oddly optimistic and still good-nature at heart. He is a bit of a joker to lighten tension, but can focus very well when the task requires seriousness.
Combat
Being an archer most of his life, he is well attuned to the bow. He strives to disarm or maim when able. Though if the opponent is dangerous, a clean kill shot may be decided.
He joined the puglist guild at a young age to improve his martial arts ability for times of close quarters combat when he is unable to draw his bow.
His skills with dual daggers and throwing daggers is in a good place from training with his mentor. He has switched to this combat style due to the high likely chance that his profession will get him in to close quarters.

History/Timeline
Carter was born in the black shroud near Gridania. His family were simple hunters that spent much of their time in the woods. This was his first experiences with a bow. Sadly his small family was caught in an ambush of Ixali as the beastmen began growing in power. He was orphaned at the age of five and spent a year living alone in the forest.
He was captured by traders and brought to Ul'dah to live on the streets there instead. He grew to learn he had a skill for pick pocketing and stealing. He banded with other orphans to survive by sharing food and gil they stole with each other. He still took trips out into the desert to continue with his archery.
His talent caught the eye of another older thief who took him on as a formal protege at the age of twenty. They spent years working together and with others on more high risk thieving. Though much of the group disagreed with how he handled his rewards, most ignored it for him being naive and did not bring risk to their work. They took their separate ways after some rocky jobs split their group apart, though the two still remained good friends.
He returned to Ul'dah to help those in need whenever he could.
