Character

General

Cesar is in all senses a cheerful man. With age his hot-headed tendencies have fallen by the way side. Growing up a half-breed all he had was his little brother. Inheriting his mother's stature protecting little brother was a full time job. These days the only thing that gets the old man's blood boiling is attacking his family. Whether it be with words or blades. Living his life in an "out of place" state and ever carrying the name of his adoptive father Cicero Aduro. Cesar spends his days shaping iron and steel, and helping when he can by using the skills he asquired to protect those from the similar fate of those who venture far past there own abilities.

Appearance

Height: 6 fulms 4 ilms

Weight: 241 ponz

Hair: Dark Auburn

Eyes: Teal Green

Age: 31

Body: Cesar is a large man in stature with the marks of battle littered across his body. Although his body seems toned he is fighting a never ending battle with age. His stance tells of a gentle man with a love for simple things. His face and body bear scars of years of conflict and young stupidity. Prominently he bears through his right eye vertically and diagonal scar below it on his right cheek. Cesar keeps his hair pulled back in braids with some loose braids hanging into his face. Cesar is seldom seen without some facial hair due to him getting lost in his armor and weapon smithing.

Behavior

Gentle, friendly, protective are some words that could be said about Cesar. He is not one to sit idly by in situations that require action. In fact his father instilled Cesar to be a man of action. So if he is able to prevent ill will whether it be with word or steel he will do so. Although Cesar is the older sibling he is easily swayed by his younger brother into situations he himself would not generally get in. Though his role has always been protector sibling rivalry never fades. Even with age. Quick to become a friend and easy to get along with. Cesar has always loved the company of others and laughter.

Combat

General

Proficient with all martial weapons with favoritism to spear. Cesar joined the Wood Wailers at a young age. Spending time in Ul'dah and the Lominsan areas has given him the opportunity to observe the fierce Roegadyn Sea Wolves wielding they're mighty axes and the Paladin of the Ul'dahn royalty giving Cesar novice skill with Axe and Sword. History/Timeline

In a tavern on the Lominsan coast a mid-lander merchant was passing through on his way to Limsa Lominsa to trade. He would often frequent a tavern called the "Drunken Fisherman". On this particular stop he spotted a new bar wench. She was tall and broad, a High-lander. Her auburn hair and green eyes hexed his mind. He drank that night and she filled his dreams. He stayed an extra night just to see her again. This continued for a few years on his annual pilgrimage to Limsa Lominsa. One year he finally rustled up the courage to speak with her. She easily fell into bed with him for she was not as he had imagined. She knew he had been watching her all of these years and hoped he could be her way out of the life of a bar wench. So they copulated this relationship and he left with a promise to make enough Gil to whisk her away to the Black Shroud. Well the girl was pregnant due to her willingness to please the merchant. So fifteen months later the merchant returned and to his surprise he had a son. He looked just like his mother. The merchant man was over joyed. He vowed he would stay and marry the girl. A few days later they married. Twelve months from that day they had another son. The four of them decided to take to the road for the Shroud of Gridania.

The excitement of marriage soon turned to a stale cold thing. The young couple argued constantly and the kind mid-lander merchant turnedinto a violent drunk and the sweet auburn haired bar maid became a vindictive snake. It is funny how infatuation easily fades with time. The family had barely made it to the Twelveswood when they could take it no more. The woman left in the middle of the night. She looked at her two sons with no remorse and walked away. When morning came the merchant saw her things were missing and the two infant boys still with him. He left them in the Twelveswood for they looked to much like their mother. As fate would have it a Elezen man was travelling to Coerthas and happened upon the two boys. His name was Cicero Aduro, this middle-aged Wild Wood Elezen took these two Hyur infants in and raised them as his own. A smith by trade Cicero lived in Dragonhead. He took the boys in and moved to Gridania so he could raise his new family in peace. Cicero never married due to his inability to have children. He thanked the twelve every day for his blessing of sons. Growing up he taught them his trade and to have the character to do what is right even if others won't understand or accept it.

Cicero named them Cesar and Orin blending both Elezen and Hyur elements. The two boys were a lot of trouble for the old Elezen. Cicero died when Cesar turned twenty years of age. The boys mourned their father. He was all they had ever had. Cicero left them with what little Gil and a small smithy in Coerthas that he had closed when they moved to Gridania. The boys took what Gil they had and joined the Wood Wailers. Cesar took up the spear and in time was a Sergeant Second Class within the Twin Adders. Cesar was twenty six years old when the Adder's were called to Cartenue. During this massacre so many of his friends died. Fire rained from the sky, and death filled the place like a thick heavy fog. On the way to Mor Dhona in a panic Cesar ran for Orin and grabbed his arm pulling him away. All he he said was "We need to leave." Orin with a look of shock in his eyes nodded and the two ran away abandoning their fellow soldiers and friends. Deserting was not what an honorable man would do but Cesar could not let his only family die like that. Not if he could help it. After fleeing for several hours towards Lominsan territory Cesar spotted a group of wounded soldiers. Some were mercenary, others from Grand Companies. It seemed they had thought the same that Cesar did and fled. From what the soldier told him their own men beat them near to death and left them. Orin insisted on healing them. Or at least attempting to. Maybe it was his way of repenting for leaving their own friends to die. As Orin approached the men a massive explosion occurred. The earth trembled and it almost sounded like Hydaelyn herself was wailing from all of the death. In the dust threw up from the explosion Cesar had lost sight of Orin whom was attempting still to heal an injured soldier. Panic ensued and a fragment of a Garlean air ship crashed near Cesar. The blast threw him ten yalms away and knocked him unconscious. When he awoke the field was littered with the dead. All he could think of was Orin. He frantically searched through bodies. Minutes seemed like hours of him searching through the dead, and finally he found him. Underneath a fragment of the hull of the air ship his brother lay there. Blood soaked but something caught his eye, it was a slight movement in his chest. Cesar immediately took his brother up and ran. He ran for what seemed like an eternity until he reached Limsa Lominsa. Orin's wounds were tended to and as soon as he was well the two left out to their fathers grave in Gridania.

Upon reaching the Black Shroud they burned their Twin Adder uniforms, paid homage to their father and put it all behind them to start anew.
