Basic Info

"I seek the blessing of no God." —Clive Stark

Clive was 6 years old when Ala Mihgo was invaded by the Garleans. Like most of the children in the city at that time, he was brainwashed to hate the primals, and even now at the age of 26 he cannot get rid of the effects of the Empire in his childhood. Five years after the Calamity, Clive finally leaves little Ala Mihgo, where he has lived with the survivors of the Calamity since Bahamuth destroyed his home, and took on the path of the adventurer. His first destination is Ul'dah, but who knows what is truly driving him?

Appearance

Height: Almost 6 fulms.

Weight: Toned, very muscular because of the rogue training and harsh lifestyle he's had to endure.

Complexion:  Very dark for living under the hot sun of Thanalan for five years (Row 12, Column 6)

Hair:  Of a clear silvery white, that he keeps short with a parted fringe on the forehead. (Base Row 20, Column 1; Highlights 20, Column 1)

Eyes:  Almond-shaped, of a clear golden shade. (Row 7, Column 5)

Particular Traits:  A white tattoo on his forehead.

Voice: (Type 3) Deep and strong, often somewhat cold, but has some warmth when he's talking to friends.

Clothing Style: He prefers to wear little cloth, often preferring to keep his chest bare to not hinder his movements as he fights.

Personality

Clive is extremely serious and mature for his age, and has great control of his emotions. At the first encounter, he is cold, and somewhat arrogant. In his younger years, Clive was a kinder, optimistic child who smiled more often. Since after the invasion of the Empire in Ala Mihgo though, Clive concluded that fate is something decided at birth and that no matter what one does, people cannot escape their destiny. Clive will often apply this to people he views as weaker than himself.

Since the Calamity and destruction of Ala Mihgo, Clive resolved to become strong enough to never again lose in a battle. To do so, he began putting more emphasis on working well on his own and started to value a mission's successful completion more than his team-mates' safety, focusing solely on his own betterment.

In battle, he is able to stay relatively calm in most situations and carefully look at the situation at hand. He shows himself to be a bit stubborn, refusing to withdraw and let his wounds be tended to until the battle is over.
