Biography
Born and raised amongst the Viper tribe of the Sagolii Desert, L'Dahsh was a single kit. Taught the tribal traditions and how to uphold them. While the females of the tribe were taught to hunt and provide for their males, L'Dahsh was taught the art of combat and strategy so that he might better protect those he called kin. As he came to respect the various Nuhn of the tribe, soon too did his interest in rising to join their ranks.
During his time amongst his people, one of the other Tia rose to take position amongst the Nuhn. Though the circumstances of his victory during the challenge were disputed due to the nature of it, tradition held true all the same. It was only when this same Nuhn began denouncing a female amongst their tribe that he began to feel the fire of rage begin to blossom within his chest. L'kerti was claimed weak and worthless, unfit to be mated by any of the tribe despite the fact that her daily training pushed her harder than half of the males within their number without tiring her. He was often found watching her from a distance and it was only when the jeers against the female rose to a roar that he stood and challenged the Nuhn.
The challenge, however, was over before it properly began. Before the battle, the Nuhn dipped the tips of his claws into a fast-acting paralytic venom. His first strike struck across L'Dahsh's right eye and before he could retaliate, his body was rendered unresponsive, crumpling to the ground while he lay fully aware of his surroundings. Before the crowd, he was mocked as weak and pitiful, a male who would never rise above Tia and would never impress any female who was sound of mind. By the time he had recovered, he lay alone as the stars rose from their slumber in the sky.
Disgusted and outraged by the betrayal, he turned his back upon the tribe, unwilling to see them made weak by such a cowardly male. Dropping the tribe entirely from his name, Dahsh soon turned towards Ul'dah. He refused to travel with others, walking towards the city with nothing but his own two feet. The trip was not entirely without pause, often stopping so that he could train and hunt.
He would have his vengeance upon the false Nuhn and reclaim his place...
Present Day
Having reached the city of Ul'dah, Dahsh has stumbled upon a female who came from his own tribe by the name of L'kerti. Having never gathered the female's name during his days within the tribe and given the years that had passed, he did not recognize her for the woman he had admired those years ago. Through her, he was introduced to O'rahn, a young kit whom had grown amongst the city and C'mahiin, a tribal Seeker of the Coeurl tribe. Together with L'kerti and with the aid of O'rahn and C'mahiin, Dahsh began his attempt to learn the culture of his new home while attempting to form a bond with L'kerti that soon began to take hold within both of their hearts.
A recent meeting with a strange male whom called himself L'kerti's sibling has now revealed that the three of them are the last of their number. The rest had been hunted down and butchered like animals. Despite his anger at being robbed of his chance to prove them wrong, he found his rage calmed when he realized his point had been proven. The false Nuhn had lead them astray, made them weak.. and they had paid for their ignorance. Learning that the Nuhn had been L'kerti's brother, Dahsh soon learned that the female he had taken to heart to challenge the male was, in fact, the very same female who had been helping him the past few weeks.
Now, as the only male left amongst the tribe without relations, he has taken it upon himself to return the tribe to strength. L'kerti has stepped forward to take her place as his mate, his bond and while their duty to the tribe will always come first, a true bond has begun to form between the pair. While L'kerti now trains herself to be a mender, so too does Dahsh train to become the proper warrior and leader he will need to be for his people.
Information to note
- ■ Though tribal, he has a great deal of tolerance for those who fail to understand the tribal way. He does have a limit, however.
- ■ He is often quiet and reserved. This isn't due to being shy but simply finding very little to speak about.
- ■ His devotion to L'kerti is more than but a simple duty to the tribe. His bond with her began years ago without her knowledge, now taking root as they have begun a relation in earnest.
- ■ Despite the tradition of how a tribal should treat females, he will often point out that they are no longer amongst the tribe. However, a tribal female will not hear this offer unless their discomfort is voiced.
- ■ His anger is quick and it takes little of it to force his hand to his blade. He does not care to waste time with petty insults.
