Danorel White is a genderqueer Miqo'te raised by a Hyur family. He lost his tribe when he was young, and as a favor to his birth parents, his adopted parents took him in and raised him, giving him a life he likely never would have experienced. Note: Danny does not care if male or female pronouns are applied to him. He is used to being called a female most of the time since that is what he looks like most days, but typically uses 'he' in reference to himself.

Appearance & Personality

Appearance
Danny is a genderqueer Seeker of the Sun. He has the typical slit-pupiled eyes of a Seeker, a light green he inherited from his birth mother. His hair is a natural blonde from his father, worn long and held back from his face. His skin is lighter in color due to the fact that he spends the majority of his time indoors. He carries no tattoos, but he does sport the three cheek-marks typical of some female Seekers.

Overall his appearance tends towards very feminine, though he does identify as male on some days. On those days his dress is a little more traditionally masculine, and he skips any makeup he would typically wear. His hair is parted and worn different to give it a more 'masculine' feel.

Personality
Danny was raised by a more wealthy Hyur couple, so he can be a little bit of a snotty brat. He does try to keep that in check, and typically is a sweeter, more compassionate individual. He is not terribly outgoing, preferring the company of a few trusted individuals and his books, but longs for companionship anyway. He is not particularly good at monogamous thoughts and likes to flirt often, but remains loyal regardless. He strives to keep his vanity in check as well as his lust, and since his relationship with Ash began he has been fairly successful in controlling both.

He tries to be a good friend, and is always willing to lend an ear or a shoulder to those who may need it. He does have a tendency to disappear for a time, shutting himself in his room with his books to forget about the world, but insists that his door is always open to those he loves.

Biography

Childhood

Raised by a Hyur family, Danorel spent quite a bit of time during his childhood studying and learning how to live outside of tribal life. He was terribly spoiled as his adopted parents tried to help him forget what had happened to his home and his family, and he soon forgot that he had lived any other life. He often questioned his parents, asking why he did not look like them, and they made no effort to hide what he was, instead encouraging him to embrace it. This is part of what lead to his vanity in later years.

Teenage

During his teenage years, Danny started to come into his own identity a little more. He began experimenting with his mother's things, and when she found out she did not discourage it. She helped him become aware of who he was (and made sure he didn't look like a clown when he first started playing with her makeup). His mother was very supportive during this time in his life and even helped him shop for clothes that he could feel comfortable in. His father remained fairly distantly supportive but did not participate.

Present

Danorel now works for a Free Company along with his closest of friends. It is what he considers home, and he would not trade it for the world. He spends more time than not researching to help the Company and doing what he can to help keep contents of the Company bank sorted, and his free time is spent dozing in the Mist sun or hanging out with friends. He is an actively working healer, and training to be a paladin of sorts as well as an archer.

Relations ♥ Romantic Interest ♥ Platonic Love ● Good Standing ● Poor Standing ♥ Ashen Behemoth : Ash and Danny met in Limsa some time ago, and since have had a rocky history together. Despite fights and arguments, Ash still rescued Danny when he'd been captured for ransom. The two have come a long ways in their relationship, and Danny hopes to be bonded to him someday. ♥ V'yhaar Nunh : V'yhaar Nunh is both Danny's best friend and one of his first love interests. He still carries quite the crush for the Nunh, but he would never let it get in the way of their friendship. Every moment he gets to spend with V'yhaar is one he treasures. ♥ Ange'a Si'dereal : Ange'a is Danny's boss, technically, but that does not stop him from any interest in the Keeper. He considers him a good friend and tries to ignore the attraction he feels for the Company's leader given the fact that Ange'a's bonded is a horribly territorial male. ♥ B'trix Niji : B'trix is one of Danny's closest friends. He loves her to pieces and would go to great lengths for her, even if he doesn't make that readily obvious. She was one of the first friends he made after leaving his parents' home to start his own adventures. ● Sindr'a Si'dereal : Danny knows Sindr'a because Sindr'a is the resident cook and cleaner for the Company as well as Ange'a's bonded, but he is not entirely close to him. He harbors no ill will towards the Company's chef, however, and even finds him pleasant company during mealtimes. He also thinks Sindr'a makes some of the best dodo he's ever tasted!
