General
Diagelese is a wandering sell-sword and storyteller who never spends too long in one place. Whether it's part commitment issues or part boredom he always finds a reason to leave. To him it's not always about the next destination, but the road and the story that take him there.
Appearance
His shoulders are broad and his stature imposing; Diagelese stands quite tall over much of the smaller races and roughly a Fulm higher than a Midlander. However he is rather short compared to most of his Highlander brethren, which he tries to make up for in sheer muscularity. Flowing dark brown locks frame his rugged face, inset with a pair of pale gold eyes that seem all too hidden in his furrowed brow. His jaw is scruff-covered and defined, a trait owed to his traveling ways.
Personality
Diagelese is a man of many things. He's an adventurer yes, but there is more to that than just places been. He swings a sword, throws a punch, nocks an arrow, bends a knee, but for what cause? To say he does it for his own gain would be a lie, but so too would it be to say he does it solely for another. A rogue by any right, he lies when he needs to, tells truths when he needs to and makes up most of either right off-the-cuff.
Despite this he tends to levy his actions for good or his understanding of the term at least. Perhaps it's an internal moral compass that cannot be denied, gnawing at him from the inside? Even more it could be a brokerage of a deal with his conscience to earn a bad deed for every good one done. Truth is he's a good man with a good heart, it's just when the mind gets involved the wants pass the needs and the lines begin to blur. For whatever company he keeps he'll do no ill to them once trust has been established, or so he'll have you believe.
Morality is a coin that favors the side most worn, but one truth that might be the truest of all: Diagelese is a storyteller. He relishes nothing more than to tell a new tale, or to add an "artistic liberty" or two to an existing one. He can recount every detail of an adventure down to the last drop of blood, or so he says. Whether it's his quest or another's, as long as there is a good story to be told from it he's in.
Combat
General
Diagelese prefers the use of his raw strength in close quarters martial combat. His bare fists have been with him from the beginning, so this is his most favored method. To best an opponent in pankration, whether it beast, man or a mixture of the two is the most rewarding of all. However if things get serious Diagelese is more than willing to arm himself. A sword in one hand and a shield in the next is number two on the list, traditional yet very effective. A true jack of all trades, master of none when it comes to getting the job done if sentences need to be punctuated with a few fists.
