Basic Info

• A Merchant of fortune, Drol'ra is the kind of man who sees a war zone, and sees people willing to pay a premium for weapons and medicine. At the same time though, he is also one to undercut those who would milk them dry. After all, repeat customers are the best customers and nations are likely to offer special dispensation and ignore questionable activity from their saviors.

History

• His mother was an Ul'dahn prostitute. His father was a client. He never knew him and he never cared to, but just through understanding his appearance, he knows he was a Seeker of the Sun. His skin is much pinker than his mother's was, who was described as porcelain skinned. His tail is also longer than his mother's was. His childhood was spent in poverty. His mother was still living the life that gave birth to him when he left home at fourteen. Most of his family died in the Calamity and its following aftermath. In his travels, he picked up a bit of everything. With full understanding of knowledge equaling power, he collected the fundamentals of everything from how to swing a sword to the proper spices to accent aldgoat meat. He's become adept at watching market forces to predict the future fluctuations, to know what would be scarce and what would be plentiful. Word began to spread, and as rumormongers are like to do, where bits and pieces are removed and added. Soon it became that it wasn't just markets, but that he could predict the future, then it was literally SEE the future. The mask that he had taken to wearing to hide a small scar was said to be to cover his eye that had the third sight. While of course, none of this was true, he embraced them. He started carrying around the traditional tool of Sharlayan astrologians and began wearing a more extravagant mask over his left eye.

Personality

• Polite unless angered, Drol'ra is a calculated individual. The words he chooses are generally precise and calculated. Friends, opportunities, and customers are almost synonymous for him. He is more than willing to offer people advice on how to save money in markets he's not currently or planning to work in - after all, the more money they have, the more likely they are to come to him with a purchase.

Affiliations

• He is officially a citizen of Ul'dah, he has strong ties to the Order of the Twin Adder, and he is a residant of Limsa Lominsa in the Mist. He considers himself to be an Eorzean first and foremost. His guardian deity is Nald'thal, though he's much more of a fan of the Nald half.
