Character
♦ General
A menace of a Duskwight who was raised by a criminal family... and then by goblins... Edeauarte is a troublemaker more than anything. Although he attempts to make honest living, he constantly finds himself dragged back to his old scummy habits. Edeauarte seeks both connections to the criminal underground and also people who might help him lead a lifestyle away from all this crime and his own nature. He often will be found doing crook things in large cities, living out with other Duskwight bandits in the forests, or trying to busk on the streets for Gil.
♦ Appearance
Edeauarte is a grey-skinned Duskwight elezen. His eyes are a reflective silvery white, like his hair, and he often protects his sensitive eyes beneath thick goggles. Most notably, Edeauarte is very thin. While he still has muscle definition, it appears he has not been able to eat a lot, let alone healthily. His hair is often messily done, either not done at all, having quick braids in it, or, if long enough, tied back.
Edeauarte wears a mask upon his face almost at all times-- he believes that people will not recognize him when he takes the mask off-- something that does sometimes help him hide. Showing himself without a mask is also something he will never to for anyone he does not have absolute trust in. Due to his poor choices and situations in his young life, Edeauarte has whip scars on his back and both of his middle fingers have been cut off. The latter was a punishment for his liberal use of his middle fingers in the presence of authority.
His outfit looks fairly pirate-esque, with large baggy pants and beat up old black boots. Anything less that baggy pants is not suitable for his tastes and often he will be a bit theatrical or overly-dressed when he can afford to, or he has stolen the proper accessories/attire. Often Edeauarte prefers shirtlessness, but he has a vest and a white shirt on other occasions and carries a large backpack with all his knickknacks. He has several tattoos on his body, on his left arm and shoulder from his business wanderings when he resided with his goblin family.
♦ Behaviour
Edeauarte is notably lax a lot of the time and almost acts as if he were high-- more than likely because of his extensive use of alchemical potions. He will do what he wants when he wants. He is fairly a rude and snide person who will speak his mind. but he is capable of humor and having a good time. He has trust issues in a sense that he believes everyone hates him and he gets confused when people are nice to him. In a sense, he's living as if he doesn't care what happens to himself, anymore.
He seems to potentially a very intelligence person, capable of great creativity and being an innovative machinist. However Edeauarte has very little logic or or reasoning, which makes him overwhelmingly come off as an absolute fool.
Despite all the bad activities he does, Edeauarte does not personally hold grudges against individuals and he only does certain things for personal validation.
Combat
- Dual Wielding
Edeauarte is ambidextrous and capable of effectively dual-wielding weapons, which is his preferred style of combat. He currently wields both a sword and a gun, but he also chooses to dual-wield both of each, as well, if the situation calls for it.
- Accuracy
With his intuit and senses combined, Edeauarte's accuracy rarely misses, whether it's melee or ranged attacks. Some people say he has an unnatural gift or even foresight. Edeauarte just thinks he's lucky.
- Super senses
Spending most of his life in environments that strengthened his senses, his are very acute and tune him into his surroundings. His use of chemicals and his headwear are also meant to dull his senses to where he can function better in casual situations.
- Speed and agility
Two of the few things he is able to enhance to the extremes due to his inability to focus on using magic.
- Master Alchemist
Relevant to combat, because Edeauarte sometimes has strange things going on with him that will affect his combat skills, thanks to his addiction to alchemy and imbibing his creations. Sometimes he is doused in his experiments that fighting him will be an assault on his opponent's senses.
- Weapons Engineer
From being raised with goblins, Edeauarte's talents in technology have a powerful emphasis in destructive weaponry and he is very quick to understand machines and technology after observations.
