- One Brother. Drekstohn (Drek-Stuhn) Taken away by slavers with his mother and sister. Edwin does not know that his brother is still alive, believing him to have died along with his mother and sister.
- One sister. Leiliana (Lay-Lee-On-Uh) She was taken by slavers along with her mother and brother during an attempt to escape from a crime lord near Limsa Lominsa. Edwin believes she died alongside his mother and brother.
Deceased:
- Father. Garrett (Gare-Ett). He was killed by a criminal lord he betrayed around Edwin's 19th nameday. He was a thief of some renown and taught Edwin the ways of the streets. Edwin favors his father in most ways, save hair and eye color.
- Mother. Liara (Lee-are-uh). She was killed by slavers trying to protect her children. The slavers were sent after their family after Garrett gave information to the Yellow Jackets about a crime lord's activities in slaving. Edwin believes that his siblings were killed along with her. She had a talent with healing, and taught Edwin everything he knows as far as book knowledge is concerned. She had his same talent of learning and he has her hair and eyes.
