Elsette Druifant (pronounced /ˈelle-sett, dru-ee-fawnt/) is former Girdanian Midlander Hyur who moved to Ul'dah to capitalize on the growing trades present there. She runs a small masseuse bar located in the Wild Girls Club (Plot 42, 8th ward, Goblet), but requires a pre-booked appointment to enter the private room that the masseuse bar is within.

Appearance & Personality
- She stands short, but tall enough to be taller than most women of her race. Elsette has short cut golden hair, and wild amber eyes. Her skin is not as dark as other women who reside in Ul'dah, but has since gained a bit of a flush tan. Elsette is petite in her own way, graceful, but can sometimes seem unusual for her strange carrying of bladed weapons, as she is a student of the gladiator's guild in spare time. She dresses in white robes, often displays her midriff, and likes tops that show off her arms. All of this leaves customers wanting more attention and naturally helps combat the heat in Ul'dah.
- Due to her occupation as a masseuse, Elle spends a large part of her time either working, or preparing to work. She cookes magnificent meals to please her clients, has her employees ready at an instance to serve all manner of clients - from men to women, each servant is capable of serving and providing the best in massage experience. She has since rented a room in an establishment, showing her garnered effort in expanding her services, and although she does not serve her clients personally as much, she is there to see through any situation, and in the case of special clients, offer her own hands to rub tired shoulders.
- Elsette is at times quite flirty. Especially with the opposite gender. This is a part of her occupation.
Biography
1542-1561
Childhood
- Elsette was born in Girdania, and raised to eventually learn the art of smithing. Although she did not enjoy this, Elsette initially followed her father's trade in an effort to appease him. She remained there during her childhood, learning bits and parts of the crafting trade and seeing the foreigners who travelled there on occasion. Being born in such a disclosed place left Elsette, a child, craving much more of life.
Teenage
- Elsette's peaceful life came to an end when the Calamity etched its mark on Girdania. Though Elle was well guarded, she still saw how this affected the rest of Girdania. She realised her dreams were pointless here. She wanted to pursue her passions, and made her own plans to escape the hard held places in Girdanian grounds and possibly find somewhere else to belong.
- Once the calamity ended, and peace returned to the city states, Elsette saw the first of people exploring each others lands. The City States opened to one another in ways they had not before. Elle initially saw Ul'dahian passengers and felt the largest necessity to go there. Her plans were interrupted when her father selected a very good match for her within Girdania, a farmer who produced Chocobo Ghysal Greens. Elle decided to forego the marriage, and strained her family relationship by declaring her intentions to leave Girdania in the midst of such huge political changes.
- She took residence in Ul'dah's in and began her small masseuse business by travelling to homes and offering massages in person. She ran the business entirely on her own until she turned eighteen, upon which she hired a male masseuse to fill the gap between what genders one might prefer. Money was tight, and Elsette, separated from her family, running solely on what she earned to pay her rent and her partner's payroll, took to offering nightly services when required. Although this was not advertised, the role was assumed if a customer asked for it and offered the right price.
- By the age of nineteen, Elsette acquired two partners to run her business for her, and began searching for a place to hold a big portion of her actual massage parlour. She would only accept home visits if the price was high enough. She immediately took to the learnings of the Ul'dah merchants, and how money played a large barter in what services someone could offer.
- Present
- Elsette is currently training with the gladiator's guild, and has learned quite a bit about blade wielding. Given recent instances where the Sultanate has been at threat, and the danger posed on all, she has found it better to remain armed. She is oddly agile and swift with a blade.
- She has joined a Free Company and uses one of the rooms to run her masseuse bar, with a female and male masseuse to accompany her. Visits to her parlour must be scheduled ahead of time, and the fee for a simple massage, limited to one part of the body, starts at 1200 gil. There are special massages, ranging from full body to a new innovative style involving vibrating pads along the back, of course, that brings the price up.

Out of Character
- I roleplay on Balmung, and am new to roleplay in general, so please be patient with me. I will respond to you if you start roleplay with me, but may need to be told that you are. I'm quite horrible at recognising people in character, vs out!
- I can roleplay mature scenes with you if you really want me to, I have no problems with that, but please don't be upset if it doesn't just happen. I play a character who, at this point, manages a masseuse place. She doesn't do it herself. I need a very good reason, or a ton of roleplay build up, to even consider it. Thank you.
- I'm not the right person to start drama with. I'm not afraid to report people.
