Appearance

Elysa stands as a skinny subject of a lady. Being of a unremarkable height for one of her people but otherwise being slightly smaller than could be expected. Her skin for the most part is a porcelain white due to long hours of self pampering. Her hair is a fair blonde that would appear almost white in direct sunlight. Her eyes are also a hue of yellow from which Elysa garners her nickname. For the most part she assists in this through the use of makeup in the form of golden eye shadow and highlights.

She can usually be found dressed in an old Haubergeon that would look battered and dented if not well maintained as if it has seen years and years of abuse. Clearly once over it would have been an expensive piece that hints towards it being a hand me down if nothing else. Upon her back usually rests a iron spear. Unremarkable in its construction and style.

History

Elysa was born into a family with three older brothers. All of which were destined to grow up and run the family business. Her father. Being an unremarkable man that would happily sell an egg to a chicken if it made him a profit. As such competition between her brothers was always something fierce, despite this Elysa led a pampered life. Her father never expecting her to have to work was happy to spend money on his youngest despite the fact it ended up spoiling her and leading to her becoming useless to the family company.

As Elysa grew up she travelled with her brothers on the various errands and jobs they took part in. Paying attention to the business at hand and enjoying the work when she was allowed to take part. However, it was not to last. Her brothers eventually reached their majority and took over the family business. No mean feat for a small company such as it was to have three bosses never mind four when their little sister grew up and thus the three decided it would be best to get rid of their pampered little sister and shipped her Gridania to train with the lancers guild under the pretence of it being a working holiday. By the time Elysa was old enough to understand what had happened she was already fairly deep into the guild training and decided to stay on, learning as much as she could despite her stature and outlook. Her brothers eventually made a deal with their now estranged sister. If she would agree to stay apart from the family and cause no trouble, they would pay her a monthly settlement and leave her to her own devices.

Disregarding the offer and seeing that her father nor mother would speak out for her either. She told her brother where to stick the offer and decided to head out into the world on her own to forge her own path.

Personality

Elysa could be considered an abrasive person in the long run. Generally being rude and impudent at a glance, but merely because she doesn't expect others to treat her any better than her family. With a magpie like attitude towards wealth she would happily hunt after coins until the cows came home. Due to this she has a hard time befriending others despite her initial outgoing attitude. Remarkably self destructive, she doesnt yet understand what she wants from life, but she likes to think that life at least owe her an easy ride.
