Biography

Eskri originally was an orphaned Miqo’te girl who lived with her brother, Professor Dibujo, in a strange, far off land where aether was used as fuel for technology, and not borrowed. Enslaved by their oppressive and powerful keeper, Dibujo’s brilliant mind was used to study the workings of aether and spell casting and take it to the next level that went beyond mechs and magic cannons. It forced him to use his younger, biological sister, as a prototype of a secret military project.

Eskri has no memory of her past. In the begining of her story, she was riding on a wagon to Gridania with no memory of what she had been doing before. It did not occur to her that she was suffering amnesia until she realized everyone else seemed to have suffered a similar kind of mental wash as she had. After figuring she wasn’t the only one with a ‘broken memory maker’ she didn’t feel so out of place.

As she continues with her journey helping the folk of Gridania, bits and pieces of her memories come to her like fuzzy static. By meeting with new friends, she learns more about herself. Her primitive instincts help her rediscover herself as a Miqo’te, although she feels something is off with her and dismisses it as a longing to find who she was before.

While she tries to figure her own hidden past, she is also gladly helping out solving the troubles of others in whatever way she can. With the discovery that she can conjure healing magic, Eskri saw it as fate that she is set out to help those around her.

Physical Appearance

Eskri is a pretty female with a soft, girlish face. She is a little taller than most miqo'te girls and is often confused to be older than what she really is. She is thin, with a decent sized bust, and tight curves; a nice petite body that's hidden beneath the bulk of her robes. Her skin is a medium grey, and has darker grey stripes that are formed symmetrically around her body. Three stripes curve on each cheek of her face, three bold ones on her hips, shoulders, and sides of her thighs, and six horizontal ones that run down the small of her back.

Her hair is streaked black and white and goes down past her chin. She has a stripy fringe that covers her forehead and some of her slender eyebrows, while the rest of her hair is worn in a short, high ponytail. However, two thick braids frame the sides of her face.

Her most distinct physical feature are her eyes. Her right eye is pure black, like a moonless night, while her left lacks all pigment and seem to emit a silvery glow. She can see perfectly well with both her eyes.

Eskri paints the right side of her face in white, to represent the goddess of the moon, Menphina. Like most Keepers of the Moon, Eskri prays to the goddess and feels that painting her face will appease the goddess in showing her devotion to her. Besides, painting one side of her face also helps represent the two halves that make her. The calm healer, and the bouncey Miqo’te.

Personality

Eskri is a bit on the capricious side. One moment she can be as calm as a cool water flowing through a brook, while the next she can be very excitable and extremely jubilant. She usually has a gentle, caring smile on her lips, and has the eyes of a daydreamer.

But do not let her states of entrancement fool you. While Eskri may appear ditsy, she is actually quite sharp when the time calls for it, and can be pretty flirty and playful when she warms up to someone she likes. She also doesn’t trust people so easily and always assumes someone has a secret agenda to their intentions.

When meeting someone new, she won’t say much. Eskri might seem mute, or cold at times, but that is only because she is listening, observing, and analyzing everything in a given situation. She is watching you closely until she feels it is safe to speak freely around you.

But Eski is a caring individual, and will do what she can to help those in need. However, Eskri simply does not tolerate know-it-alls, thieves, snobby children, and very bad listeners. Perhaps this is why she refrains from doing most of the talking. She is afraid she might miss something important.

He created all sorts of technologies powered by the magic. His research went beyond mechs and magic cannons. It forced him to use his younger, biological sister, as a type of test subject. A prototype of some sort.

Relations 

• Oliver Hoodwiks: [Cactuar server, played by GrymRyder] A male Miqo’te, from the Seeker of the Sun clan, who has appeared since the start of Eskri’s journey. He provided her with a linkshell to relay messages. He often times appears seemingly out of nowhere when Eskri least expects it. Eskri describes him as a talented, well versed, charming boy with a nice smile and soothing laughter.

Goals 

1. To unlock her memories and rediscover her past. (blurry memories on Magitek, the Masked Mage, Oliver.)
2. To raise and breed different kinds of chocobos.
3. To acquire her own home, ranch and garden.
4. To travel to distant lands for sightseeing and knowledge over magic, chocobos, the people and their cultures.
5. To become a strong white mage to aid those in need.
6. To call someone a true companion and lover.

Sexuality 

• Sexual orientation: Currently unknown. (She has yet to really fall in love, but tends to find most males pleasing to the eye.)
• Libido: Due to her hormonal spikes, there are times she has to hide away to take care of her personal needs. So far, her missions have kept her too busy to really consider paying attention to it.
• Promiscuousness: Unknown, but feels maybe she might be the jealous type.
