Appearance & Personality

As a large Hyrun Highlandlander, Hamato is agile as a Miqo'te, with the raw strength of a Roegadyn.
Post Purple Dragon Deception, Hamato has taken on a rather linear focus, with the only goal of being strong enough to destroy is former master. While The Echo's recurring flashes show him a life that could of been, completley contradicting everything he was force fed, images of his father and mother at peace seem to settle his anger, but it isn't long before Hamato reminds himself of why they are no longer with him and who is to blame. His life now is a constant battle of good and evil, what he was taught to know versus what he was born to. He wears the symbol of the dragons over one eye while representing the family he never knew on the other.
Typically quiet and reserved Hamato isn't known for his people skills but rather his wit, timing and love for puns. If you hear anything at all from this warrior its likely worth hearing. Honest to a fault but loyal until the end.

Biography

Childhood
As an infant, Hamato was made an orphan by an evil clan leader, Oroku Saki. Master of the Purple Dragons and feared by most the land Oroku knew he needed a successor, and after ransacking Hamato's home in the dead of night, murdering his family Oroku claimed Hamato as his own, and so began the training of the perfect warrior.
Even as a child, Hamato showed great promise and aptitude to the ways of battle, specifically in hand to hand combat, stemming both from a life time of training and true Ninja running through his veins. Though as disciplined as he was, he was still a child out of place and this reflected with lapses of innocents and wonder, lapses which Oroku was sure to correct swiftly and effectively.
Adolescents
An experienced hunter by age 15, Hamato was ruthless, vicious and deadly. Out-hunting the seasoned men 5-to-1 Hamato was the pride and joy of dinner time to the clan, however taking another man's life was a different story. For this Hamato had not seen real battle, which he'd be lying to say he was disappointed by this. He did not share the thirst for blood his surrogate father did - another trait Oroku sought to correct instantly.
On his 16th birthday Hamato was kidnapped in the dead of night and taken to a cave in the far ends of Sagolii Desert. He was left for 2 days with a single canister of water when his captors returned with another victim and specific instructions. If Hamato wished to live this mysterious Miqo'te was to die. Being well seasoned to Oroku's tactics in war, Hamato quickly recognized this as an attempt to break him, to change him into the warrior expected of him. Hamato refused to take the life of an innocent, The Purple Dragons that kidnapped Hamato and the Miqo'te threatened both their lives if Hamato did not do what was asked. This was something Hamato would not take lightly, as his fellow clansman made a move to end the life of their second prisoner Hamato snapped and in a few quick movements his captors were no more.
After returning the young Miqo'te to her home, Hamato returned to his to face whatever consequence lay in wait for him. Only to be welcome with praise from his Master, for he did not complete the task as expected, the result was the same. Hamato had taken the life of his enemies.

Turning Point

After the events of his 16th, Hamato was a changed man, vowing to never show the weakness that had put an innocent in harms way. He was cold and deadly. Everything his master expected of him. Though he did this in spite of his master, as far as Hamato knew, Oroku was his father and by default must be honored and respected.
Three years pass, Hamato is leader of his own platoon and feared by enemies of the clan. There is nothing left of him outside of the battle field, all that is, is the next attack. While returning to Purple Dragon HQ one evening a cloaked figure crosses his path, instantly Hamato senses something off about them, but finds himself suddenly frozen, and as his vision blurs he is blinded by a flash of images, what seem like memories he never thought he had. An image of a man and woman, whom he did not recognize by sight, but the feeling he felt for them. "Now you will know," seeing black, Hamato hears whispered, "The Echo has shown you." As he came to, he knew, not sure how, but he knew these people he saw were his real parents and the more he retraced the flashing images he revealed to himself exactly what happened to them, and who was to blame. The man he had called master, father, Oroku Saki. Infuriated, Hamato steps towards the guild he had called home for over 20 years and stops, knowing what he knows he can not return, for he can't predict what his actions may be when come face to face with the monster that robbed him of his life. After a moment pause he turns back around and walks the lone path.
Today, Hamato continues to train tirelessly but not to succeed his former master. To overthrow him and put an end to the Purple Dragons.
