Before Dalamud's Fall
Birth and childhood (0-10)
Harley was sold by her birth parents shortly after she was born to an aristocratic Elezen family. She was to be a pet for the family's daughter Lilith. Harley grew up as Lilith's plaything. Lilith was often kind but when angry would take her rage out on young Harley. The older the girls grew the less interested Lilith was in Harley's companionship. This hurt Harley deeply as she had no other person she had really known.
Teen Years
As Lilith became more distant Harley's role in the house shifted to cooking and cleaning and managing the Vongg family estate. She was never treated too cruelly but was also never afforded opportunities to pursue her interests. Her one solace became the books she would sneak out of the library and read in secret at night.
After Dalamud's Fall
Adulthood
As Harley began to reach adulthood the local law enforcement decided to crack down on the slavery and indentured servitude of the aristocracy. Harley was taken from her home and told that she was now free. She didn't know what to do with herself. All she had ever known was in that house with the Vongg family.
A Realm Reborn (Present, 20)
Harley eventually decided that she would set out on an adventure like all of her heros from the books she loved. She began to train herself as an archanist.
