Basic Info
A scholar of medicine currently residing in The Goblet, where he owns a house fitted with his own private clinic - however, he is quite selective about who he takes on as patients. His research covers a range of subjects, primarily human enhancement and genetic engineering, pharmacology and the study of consciousness and dreams. He has a particular interest in those who are magically inclined, or have the Echo.
History
The son of a Sharlayan father and Thavnairian mother. Mostly educated in Sharlayan, though his upbringing saw him travel a lot, and as such his accent is difficult to place. Something of a child prodigy, he graduated from his studies in medicine in his late teens. However, despite his qualifications, his young age and frequent absences lead to difficulties in finding permanent work.
Personality
Somewhat difficult to get to know well. Talking about his work and research excites him, however, and once you get him started on the subject it can be difficult to get him to stop. He was spoiled terribly by his parents as a child, and struggled somewhat to learn proper social skills. Although he is generally amiable, he often has a hard time properly conveying and explaining his emotions and empathising with others, which can lead to him getting frustrated or angry in social situations, and often isolating himself. As a result, he finds it hard to maintain intimate relationships, despite the fact that at heart he is a deeply passionate and romantic person.
