Ian Moone

Character
Personality
Flirty, Polite, very attentive to people he finds physically attractive, and to his friends/FC mates. Ian is at times eloquent, though when flustered his pattern of speech reverts to a rough pirate’s brogue (a habit he picked up during his time at sea). Loyal to a fault, Ian would just about kill himself bending over backward for his friends and comrades. He often puts himself in harm’s way, and does things he finds himself uncomfortable doing for his Free Company. He seems to have a knack for keeping secrets and looks like he even put Nalin’s abilities for telling lies to shame, though he admittedly hates lying.
Appearance
Ian is tall for a Midlander, standing in at 5'11 he's broad in the shoulders and has the build of a warrior. Used to wearing heavy plate and swinging a massive axe Ian has an impressive physicality for someone of his stature. Ian has a few scars from encounters he's had over the years, all of his visible features are free from marks and scares. Ian's hands are rough and calloused from countless hours handling his axe.
Ian's skin is darkened by spending much of his time in the sun. Much to his pleasure this favored pastime has not lightened his raven hair. His dark locks and skin make for a very nice contrast with his pale violet eyes. (Something he has gotten many comments about.)
Ian favors dark colors and clothing of the Thavnairian or Thanlanian/Ul'dahn style. His armor has even taken on these features. When he's out on a job he wears a dark turban, when he's in a more personal or private setting Ian removes this head gear.

Combat
General
Ian fights with the usual air of a warrior. Straight into his target, with a heavy blow to the skull. He does get creative when fighting things of higher intelligence. Things that won't just sit there and let him smack them.
Companions
Warksworth
Ian's -butler- I mean Chocobo. Ian got Warksworth from a friend who'd already named the bird. Rather than trying to teach it to answer to a new name, Ian kept the name even fondly referring to Warksworth as his butler at times.
Sneak
Again. Ian came across the small tonberry by strange and unknown means, but ever since having met, the two are often seen together. Where ever Ian's adventures take him Sneak is never far behind. Famous around the FC for being rather agile and stealthy, Sneak pops up at random times and places, scaring anyone he suddenly appears before. Sneak seems to have a brotherly relationship with Tonton. Sho's tonberry.
History
It turns out that all of I'an Nunh’s history was an elaborately crafted lie, made up by Ian Moone and I'phel Nunh. Ian is a spy for his homeland Thavnair. He was sent to keep tabs on the empire and be sure that the Garleans did not make an attempt to take Thavnair for their own. Ian was to warn his home, through his handler a La Nocean native, though Thavnair loyal, I'phel Nunh, should any indications of aggression toward Thavnair arise. Ian joined the Windsong Lancers as a convenient way to set up a relatively cheap home base and as a good way to fund forays into Garlean controlled territory. Though, admittedly Ian became rather attached to the members of the Free Company he had joined. Something that has certainly made things far more complicated.
Ian and I'phel met when they were both rather young. Ian being sent to Eorzea, to immerse himself in it’s customs and ways, and find a way to blend in perfectly before beginning his mission, and I'phel trying to strike out on his own. The two stuck together, forming a deep bond during their time on the seas of Hydaelyn. This bond was so strong that Ian actually took I'phel to his home, got him trained to be his handler, and then went back to Eorzea where he established himself as I'phel’s twin, with a supply of some concoction that would make Ian appear to be a Miqo'te for as long as he continued to take it. Ian would make regular trips “home” to his “tribe” to give any information he had gotten to I'phel, receive updates to his orders, to resupply his stash of potion, and in return to give a much gil as he could to the small, struggling tribe.
Ian recently had something of a falling out with his FC. And though they have not yet kicked him out, he doesn't seem to be on speaking terms with many of the members. Ian has been running a bit wild as of late as well. More so than usual anyway. Staying out all hours of the night, getting drunk, taking drugs, getting into fights at the arena, and hopping from bed to bed sleeping with who ever he happens to take a fancy to, before stumbling home and crashing in his room at the Windsong Company house.
