Hailing from Ishgard after escaping the fall of Ala Mhigo, Izurias has seen his fair share of battle and misfortune. Heavy with guilt after a tragic accident with his comrades, he was shunned by his peers and left his country behind. Tired of the constant reminders of his failures he tends to be either at the bottom of a bottle or bloodied from a brawl. Now with a sharp tongue, ample amounts of sarcasm, and a dash of roguish charm he can often be found in a Tavern drinking away his issues, or selling his services as a bodyguard for a fair price.
Appearance & Personality
Demeanor: Nearly always under the influence of any drink, Izurias tends to be incredibly full of himself, tending to laugh at most situations ehile just trying to enjoy himself.However he can become very sarcastic when addressing people who are trying to start something with him. If he starts to sober up however, his attitude well become more serious towards others if not more self loathing.
Nature: Izurias started off with the want to give back to his country and homeland he grew up in, determined to show how much he would do anything that was asked of him. Though he may not show it he is just trying to redeem himself for his past mistakes, though for now he knows not how.
Religion: Over the years Izurias has come to appreciate the strength of the Orthodox Church and its followers. Though he is not sure of his faith he still wants to believe.
Common Appearance: He keeps his brown/blonde hair brushed back in an effort to keep any of it out of his face. He also keeps two braids down the sides of his face in front of his ears. Occasionally he will cut it short and keep it neat, with a part down the middle.
Scars & Markings: He has a small scar across his right cheek from an altercation he had with a dragon.
Clothing: He wears a long sleeved white button up shirt, leaving the top of it unbuttoned showing of his chest. On top of that he wears a vest accompanied by a pair of arm length gloves. He pairs this with black breeches held up by a belt, as well as a pair of thigh high boots.

AbilitiesIzurias strengths lie in this formal training as a knight then Dragoon for the Holy See of Ishgard. He is very strong with lance in hand, combined with the Jump ability Dragoons use to kill dragons makes him a strong ally against avian or large foes.
After he left the Holy See, He became a vagrant mostly getting in trouble at bars, getting into more then his far share of bar fights making him very good at fist fighting. While not as strong as his skill with a lance he is still not to be underestimated.
His excessive drinking also usually dulls his sense of pain while he is drunk.
He also tends to be quite personable when he is drunk, tending to be more out going then when he is sober.
Due to his excessive alcohol consumption he usually is not in any capacity to fight outside of bars where the battle is usually on even ground due to the opponent also being drunk. As well as being drunk is usually an issue, as his numbness to pain while intoxicated usually leads to injury.
Due to the traumatic nature of his leaving Ishgard, he has issue picking up a lance or using his dragoon training.

Cynnie found Izurias at the tavern in Vesper Bay, looking to hire him to move some crates for her. After begrudgingly accepting her offer of coin he accompanied her back to the inn she was staying at in the Goblet near Ul'dah. Soon after she invited him back into her room explaining that she needed a guard to bring her safely to Gridania. He did agree to it however later in the night he decided he would rather not and left the Inn with a nice, barely eaten cooked Dodo which he took to the Coffer& Coffin Saloon in Central Thanalan to feed to the children. (Though it would be lying to say that he didn't have more then his fill.) Of course, he was then tracked down by a posse that Cynnie had roused in order to make him pay for the Dodo. She and said posse then 'persuaded' him into going with her on her venture to Gridania.

An Au Ra that accompanied his current employer in tracking him down at the Coffer & Coffin after he had stolen the latter's cooked Dodo during their second encounter. She was very aggressive towards him though not as much as the Mi'qote friend they also brought with them.
