Basic Info

Housecarl in Valentine family's household as dragoon, but was born to family of farmers. He has done physical work his whole life, so he isn't affraid physical work. Family and people close to him are everything to him, specially his beloved. He has worked hard to earn his place in Valentine family's household as knight. Despite his past and age, he has taken part to multiple skirmishes between dragons and Isghard.

History/Timeline

Childhood:
Jorund spent most of his childhood in fields, helping his parents with agriculture and fields, so he isn't stranger to physical work. When he wasn't helping parents in field, he studied. Sometimes he went to markets in Ishgard with his mother to sell agricultural products from their field. Fieldwork and studying kept him busy so he didn't have much time for playing like most of the kids. Instead having many friends he had only couple friends to play with, his sister, Valentine family's daughter Abigail and a guard dog.

Housecarl training:
When Jorund reached teenage, Valentine family started to teach him combat skills, like using sword and lance, to protect Ishgard and make him housecarl. His childhood friend Abigail trained with him and taught him basics. They spent a lot free time together and studied dark arts together.

Becoming Housecarl
After years of combat training Jorund became housecarl in Valentine family's household and he works for family now. His work is mostly hunting and different tasks household gives to him.

Personality

Jorund is polite and well-mannered man, but he doesn't seek company of strangers and he tends to be doubtful with people he doesn't know. He doesn't hesitate to approach people and help them, but he have to benefit somehow from it.
