Personality:

K'ahna was always a quiet child, and that has not changed much as he grew up. He does not mind people or crowds but doesn't necessary feel he has to draw attention to himself, perfectly happy just listening and observing.
He isn't difficult to draw into a conversation but rarely start one himself. Get him talking about gemstones and you'll never be able to leave.
He is somewhat of a klutz, still, as if he never quite managed to grow used to the size of his body. This has the unfortunate effect of making him a lousy hunter, something he is deeply troubled and ashamed by.
He is fairly intelligent but is quite content in letting people believe otherwise - and was, until someone discovered his aptitude for magic and had him buckle down and actually learn.
K'ahna is quite content with his place in the tribe and believes in finding his own way of helping out. Kind and soft-hearted and perhaps a bit naive to the world still, he usually get along with everyone. It takes a lot to anger him. His easy affection for everyone have made it a bit difficult to culminate deep and lasting friendships so far as he might be viewed as a bit off an oddball.

Habits
K'ahna is extremely expressive with his body language, especially the ears and tail. This also makes him a terrible liar, as he would openly display his feeling on a subject even without actually voicing it.

Quirks
Taken to wear goggles, most of the time. Has an old, faded gil coin he will usually fidget with if nothing is happening.

Talents
Arcanist (Summoner) - Has a gift for magic but is still in the process of learning how to control this talent.
Archer (Bard) - Archery is the only proper hunting skill he isn't completely terrible at, though he would much rather prefer to use magic.
Mining - Precious stones and jewelry is something he is good at finding, and it has proven to be another thing to trade with the non-tribe settlements they happen upon.
Goldsmithing - A skill he recently picked up when he accompanied some of his tribe into the city of Ul'dah. He is still fairly new at it but the detailed tinkering suits him better than other work he has found.

Hobbies
While it could hardly be described as a hobby, K'ahna has a knack for finding things out in the desert, mostly precious or pretty gemstones but also water, edible food and shelter.
He enjoys gifting his little finds to whatever tribe member happens to be nearby, as he personally has no need to hoard them.

History

Under construction

Early Life

K'ahna was a troublesome child, albeit not for his penchant for getting into trouble. He was quiet and soft-spoken, hesistant to ask questions and always seemed distracted.
When he was taken out to start hunting, things were fine in the beginning...until they attempted to teach him how to use the weapons in the hunt.
Shameful, the young boy spent hours by himself, at the time when most others his age were playing, practising. He never managed to grasp the right way to hold and move the spear, or the subtle grip needed to perfectly hold and fire the bow.
The less said about any hand-to-hand combat, the better.
He managed to keep up with his age mates, but his social skills suffered as a result of the time he needed to spend just to not fall behind and he became even more of a quiet recluse of a child.
When he was around twelve cycles, things changed. He was still not anything more than barely proficient with a bow but [to be continued]

Teen

His teen years went alot better than his early childhood. Though still no expert in making friends, he began to join his age mates in games for fun and play, slowly learning how to adapt back into a more social being.
When he hit 16 cycles, he was ready to perform his trial to be accepted into adulthood. [to be continued]

Though he was old enough to have joined the fight when the battle when it began, he remained with the others, knowing he would not be much help. Besides, someone needed to remain with the tribe, to keep the children safe and fed and that was what he decided to do.
When what was left of their tribe returned, he looked upon the bodies of the fallen, finally stopping on the body of K'thalen, his sire. Swallowing back the grief he wanted to let out, he bowed his head. Knowing he had no other witness but his own thoughts, he swore to never be this useless again, to do his best to help the tribe out, if only to honor his father's memory.
It wasn't long after, when the tribe began to slowly rebuild itself, that he told the elders off his talent with aether and gemstones.

Today

These days, K'ahna travels between his tribe and Limsa Lominsa, contiuing his studies at the Arcanist Guild while checking in with his tribe and update them on his progress.
Occasionally, he will stop by Ul'dah and spend a day or two in the Goldsmith's guild, making a few trinkets for his fellow tribe members.

This place will be edited and expanded as his story progress during RP.
