Like a candle without a wick, or a house without any windows, something seems… wrong. In a quiet room late at night when no others are around, there is a stillness about him. As if time itself has slowed.
Indiscreet with his aetheric aptitude, he is well known by the thaumaturges of Ul’Dah for his uncommon skill and being generally annoying. Some have wondered aloud if the felonious wunderkind owes his unusual success to dabbling in forbidden arts, but his accusers have a habit of recanting their claims shortly after making them.

Physique & Markings
Khatos is rather slight for a male miqo'te, not infrequently mistaken for a woman. Something that totally doesn't bother him at all, so you shouldn't even bring it up.
Hygiene & Attire
A traveler must be able to carry their home on their back. For Khatos this means transporting a substantial wardrobe, books, jewelry, alchemic equipment, and more. How he accomplishes this remains a mystery. He is usually unarmed, preferring to avoid combat when possible. But when required he wields a peculiar war-staff. Equal parts halberd, mace, and arcane focus, it consists of a sturdy pole with three heavy blades on the end, with a weighted focus cradled between them.
