Personality
Generally Anti-social: She doesn't care much for groups or random chatter. Though sometimes she will engage in small-talk if she's in the mood.
Straightforward: Will usually take the most direct route so long as it does not hurt her chances of success.
Strategic: Kairi is well-versed in all common battle strategies and many advanced ones. She knows who, where, and what to strike in the field. And indeed, which field she should be in.
Quiet/Reserved: Normally gets her point across in as few words as possible. Rare is the occasion her composure will break outside of combat.

Lizzette Amitsu: She aided Kairi in recovering a few times by this point and definitely seems to care for her safety. Kairi has recently warmed up to her continued presence in her workshop and general assistance adjusting to her new life.

Yumi Hikaru: Though it was none other than she and her company that brought her into Adder custody, she did not begrudge the Miqo'te. Instead, she has developed a slight interest in her after Yumi unwittingly hired her for bodyguard duty under her mercenary name and mask.
Itsu Neir: Wife of Yumi. Kairi knows very little about her other than her volume when speaking for Yumi's well-being.
Yumiko Shimousu: Conjurer, quite passive. Seemed to hide behind her when danger was involved...
Zinot Risus: Very tall. Even by normal au'ra male standards. Doesn't seem too reliable and his interest in kill-count clashes with her stance. She will be keeping a close eye on this one if their paths cross...
Enemies
Garleans: Throw a rock in the general direction of some garlean soldiers, and chances are they have some sort of qualm with her for one reason or another.
Monetarists: Their greed is a blight to humanity. Kairi will never forgive them.
Messenger Moogle: It's always so cheerful when it shouldn't be. It actively wishes for her business to close so it doesn't have to deliver mail to her anymore. Why it doesn't simply put that in the mailbox outside, She will never understand.
Story
Backstory
Training as a warrior from a very early age, Kairi was raised in the Azim Steppe. During an intense sparring match with her father to ready for the upcoming Naadam, her inner beast roused and she lost control as it went on a violent rampage. When she finally came to, She found her family dead - With their blood on her axe. Falling into despair, She ran away and was ultimately caught and conscripted into the Garlean military.
The Reaper Reckoning
Assigned to guard a prototype Reaper for the Garlean Empire, she engauged a company of adventurers who had responded to a call after the machine had been spotted. In the battle that ensued, Kairi felt her control slipping away as her inner beast roused. The party managed to subdue her inner beast using magic to incite severe drowsiness, at which point the Reaper pilot lost patience and fired towards one of the party. Not wanting to see those who ultimately helped her regain control (Even if they were her enemies) die, Kairi pushed the Paladin Yumi out of the firing line to take the hit for her. The group healer tended to her severe wounds as the rest of the party took out the Reaper's pilot and secured the machine. When she awoke, She had been taken into Adder custody and was treated for her wounds. In exchange for citizenship as well as a greatly reduced sentence, Kairi provided information into the experimental Reaper and troop/stronghold information. In addition, her metalworking prowess was put to use as a custom commission smithy primarily to be used for special Adder requests. It was due to this that Kairi had met Lizzette; Who would be providing her with alchemical supplies as well as precious metals, and formally met Yumi; Who had heard about a skilled weapon smith new to Gridania. While initially extremely defensive towards her, having been affiliated with Garleans, Yumi eventually lightened her stance against her as she finished the commissioned sword and shield.
The Castrum Raid
Work at the shop had been slow after her sentence was completed. Being low on gil and materials, There was only one option to keep her fragile buisness alive; Steal rare materials. There was one small catch... The garleans store theirs in heavily fortified Castrums. She donned the relatively cheap and weak armor she had forged in her spare time and set out. On the way there, A garlean assassin attacked from the shadows. Narrowly missing her, she managed to locate and drop him with her flintlock. Killing wasn't something she wanted to do, but he had dedicated his life to taking others. She would just have to deal with it. After arriving, she managed to gain access after subduing a guard and taking his keycard. She tried to stay quiet and found various materials. She threw most of them down into The Triangle outside of the Castrum. Though in the middle of this, the sirens sounded. Her non-lethal method was coming back to bite her. A couple waves tried their hands at taking her out. She sustained major wounds and her inner beast roused. One soldier was cleaved clean in half before she managed to regain control with the rest knocked unconcious. The image of the one she killed would haunt her in the coming nights. She managed to make it to her chocobo before passing out from her injuries. The bird took her all the way home where she finally regained her senses. Which was mostly pain. Kairi stumbled into the shop, discarding her damaged and punctured armor on the floor on her way to bed. Lizzette entered the next day to check on Kairi's achemical stock and seen the armor scattered throughout. She followed the trail to Kairi's bed to find it soaking in blood, and Kairi pale from blood-loss. Lizzette quickly tended her wounds and watched over her as she rested. The two formed some sort of bond the following days. Kairi returned to gather the materials she had thrown over, but some of the materials had been spotted and returned with garlean troops in it's place. She subdued them and took what was left of the metals before riding off with a few major wounds. Lizzette found Kairi yet again bleeding in bed, but luckily not as badly the first time. She patched her up and insisted she stop getting hurt. Though despite this, Kairi put in at the adventurer's guild as a second source of income.
The Days Between
The smithy has picked up over the past several moons. The days come and go as she toils away at the forge completing a growing list of commissions. The bond between her and Lizzette has quietly blossomed into a friendship; of which she has yet to realize. Kairi has even begun casual conversations with Liz; Often over a cup of tea. This peaceful time has sparked a change in her that continues to chip away at her normally cold and calculated personality.
