Appearance
Kemba'to is a Miqo'te of average height, if not on the shorter end of the spectrum, for males; standing at just over 5 fulm and 2 ilm. His skin is a darker complexion, in stark contrast to his outlandishly-colored hair. The shaggy hair atop his head is a vibrant pink, and highlighted by streaks of sky-blue. He is of lithe build, being slender as most Keeper males are, though still defined and well-toned. The fur of his leonine tail is a slightly darker pink, ending in a tuft of dark fur. Perhaps his second most striking feature would be his eyes. They are a brilliant sea green that seem to shimmer even in dim lighting. His face, while fair and some would possibly even consider feminine, is accented by various scars. Most of which were earned in combat training with his elder and younger sisters.
Personality
Kemba'to is an outgoing young man, when it comes to seeing new places and learning about the world. Some of the effects of a secluded lifestyle show through when meeting new people, however. While he does not shy away from strangers, he generally begins speaking to them in a far more formal manner, until he grows accustomed to them. An additional result of his tribe's seclusion is his naiveté. He is somewhat ignorant of the world outside of his tribal hunting grounds, thus could easily be led astray. Kemba'to is very respectful to the people he meets, giving everyone the benefit of the doubt. This is especially true of females, namely Miqo'te, largely due in part to his upbringing. For those who are able to garner his loyalty and friendship, they will find none more staunch in these traits than Kemba'to. When the individuals he considers to be his friends and allies are under threat, he will boldly rush to their aid, regardless of the circumstances.

History
Kemba'to comes from a family of mainly females, much like most other Keepers. He was the second son of his tribe, preceded by two elder sisters, a brother, and followed in age by two younger sisters. His tribe lives on the fringe of Gridania and Ul'dah, which fueled his interest in the desert city. Upon his brother's coming of age, he witnessed the female members of his family come after him, much to Kemba'to's dismay. After a brutal sendoff, his brother struck out on his own. Kemba, saddened by his brother's absence, sought comfort in his eldest sister. She told him that all Keeper males went through a similar initiation into adulthood.
Kemba'to took this to heart; his family was not being cruel, they were simply sending him on his path as a male. When he came of age, around 23 years, the same thing occurred, and Kemba'to set out on his own. Making his way for the city of Ul'dah, he promptly joined the Pugilist Guild, as he always felt most comfortable using his bare fists as his weapons. Since coming to Ul'dah, he has met a fairly warm reception; namely because people have been drawn to his unique hair coloration, which is an oddity among any race. Thus far, he has made a living performing odd jobs for citizens of the city and those beyond its walls, even working alongside the Brass Blades, from time to time.
