Appearance & Personality

Nature & Demeanor

Nature & Demeanor

Demeanor: Normally rather solemn and slow to speak. At times seems very confused. Quick to anger. Many might think of him, especially upon first meeting, that he is maybe slow in the head or, generally, not smart.

Habits: Normally seen drinking at the bar or wandering about with his horse and a number of packs strapped to the beast. Even though he has begun to call the house of Might and Magitek home, he is ever the nomad at heart and normally takes to the plains of Thanalan to sate himself.

Notable Features

Notable Features

Common Appearance: Stark white hair, woven in a tight braid and dark skin and scales made for quite the contrast on the male Xaela. Standing right at two yalms, the male was on the taller side for his race as well as on the more muscular side. Dark hues gave way to the characteristic limbals, near the same color as his hair and scales covered most of the face save for the cheeks, brow. The two 'horns' curled back before moving forward, adorned with metal trimmings and tips.

He was normally adorned in thick plate that once looked like it may have been a rather lovely piece and adorned in beautiful patterns with a gold trimming, but now it was worn, dented and scuffed, no longer ornate looking, certainly not something that a nomad like himself should have. Beneath the armor, lay the muscular form, erring on the larger side of the Xaela physique, covered near head to toe in old and fading scars from his time in Othard. ((Just a simple place holder at this point. Yes, it reads like a dog wrote it. Will come back to make it pretty. ))

Scars & Markings: Too numerous to speak of. Voice: Slow drawn out syllables that help to relieve the thick accent he would normally have. Deep Baritone Clothing: Normally the thick plate armor which covers most of the body. At times may be seen lounging more in a heavier cotton shirt and pants.

Prejudices

Prejudices

Khaishan has few prejudices other than hatred and fear of Dotharls and a dislike of the Raen. The latter is mostly due his views on 'civilized' society and the complacency that it causes in people. It also keeps from, in his opinion, from facing a lot of the hardships that came from the nomadic and violent lifestyle of his own brethren. He sees some of it from the races of Eorzea but, chooses not to voice it as often.

Abilities

Strengths

Strengths

Khaishan's strengths are mostly lie in his strength and his ability as a tactician. Not only is he good with an axe, but he is also good with a bow, either on the ground or on his horse, something he learned to do when he was very young. The tactical side of his mind is really no better than many others and something he doesn't speak much of, but his times on the plains he was privy to many of the battles and skirmishes that his tribe and others were involved in, giving him the ability to see what worked and what did not and apply it to other areas later on.

Weaknesses

Weaknesses

Most of his weaknesses lie in is not being able to understand a lot of the Eorzean concepts and the transition to a more civilized society which will lead him to opening his mouth and get him into trouble. He is quick to anger and it's easily done if someone knows how to push the right buttons.

Combat

Combat

Battle axe: His first weapon of choice when going into battle, large, heavy and slow.

Composite Bow: Normally using a more compact bow rather than the bulky long bows. Small and lightweight, easily used on horse back as on foot.

'Keimahl Sterrgeimwyn ( ) - '
Keimahl joined Might and Magitek around the same time he did. While not friends and while Keimahl actively shows a great deal of disdain towards the Xaela, he actually harbors no ill will towards her. Enjoys getting a rise out of her. Vowed to pelt her with eight hundred beads for the eight she threw at him one day.
'Fhilwyda Eyrihaerzwyn ( ) - '
The second person that Khaishan met in Might and Magitek. While not hated by Khaishan, he does seem to find himself in arguments over the protection of the weak and why they would actively seek to help those with little to no reciprocation given other than words.

History

Glass-hourglass.png History
Little is known about Khaishan, even to himself, before the age of three when he entered the Buduga tribe, proper. All of what Khaishan knows before than is that he was taken from the Noykin tribe. Whether it be from a result of battle or kidnapping, Khaishan never asked. From the age of three to the time he matured, he was indoctrinated and taught how to fight and to use a multitude of weapons but, became more proficient in horse back archery and the axe.

From there he, along with his tribe, did as all Buduga did, taking what they needed from other tribes through force or through more underhanded and less apparent tactics up until the exodus when the fighting from Doma and the Garlean Empire spilled into the land. Many of the Xaela and Raen alike made their way to the coast and ships proper for transportation into Eorzea.

Khaishan first found himself in Limsa, though he did not stay there long, instead making his way throughout the continent until he found Thanalan, a place that reminded him of his own home. He rarely travels outside of it now, choosing to roam when not around his employers.

Don't kill the character unless you talk to me first. If you want to attack him, contact me oocly that way we can agree on a system to use for the fight. If any sort of relationships(friendly or otherwise) arise, I am not opposed to letting these develop naturally, but do know that Khaishan's views are different and not necessarily good. Would recommend ooc talking with this as to give a better idea so as not to bring a person down oocly(I do know that some rp can bring people down and they do need to unwind or some instances can be triggering. This is the only reason I bring this up as Khaishan is not wholly good or evil but a by product of his upbringing and his subsequent conditioning.)Other than this...Any rp is pretty much okay by me and welcomed. Let Khaishan be your lightning rod of hate.
