Sing Me A New Song

L'koliwe Neneh knew from a young age that life in the Viper tribe wasn't going to be for her. Her bedtime stories as a child were the tales of adventure her father would come up with and they filled her dreams with grand travels and monster slaying. She knew that adventure was where he destiny lay. She would lead the life that her father had wistfully hoped that he could've had.

Koliwe's father was supportive and very encouraging, very unlike her mother who was not pleased with her eldest daughter's decision. Koliwe's usually calm mother ranted and raved nonstop, but that did nothing to deter the young Miqo'te. She had her father's thirst for excitement and her mother's stubborn streak, her mind had been made up and she would follow through. Her sister's cried, her mother ranted, and her father wished her good luck. Saying goodbye to her family was hard, maybe even harder than she anticipated, but it was the right choice.

These days it's hard to track down Koliwe. She can be found anywhere from Ul'dah to Aleport, from cities to fields. She loves to travel, an explorer at heart, and she can't seem to manage staying in one place for too long. With a song on her lips and a bow strapped to her back she treats everyday like it's a new adventure, and she couldn't be happier.

This Music Tells A Story

L'kolwie does her best to be kind and courteous to everyone she comes across, unless given a serious reason not to. She believes that life is so much more enjoyable when one isn't being mean and pushing away those that are around them. Despite her apparent friendliness, however, Kolwie prefers to conduct her travels alone. She is sociable and enjoys the company of others, but her travels are for her and give her time to think.

Koliwe is very passionate, throwing herself wholeheartedly into her feelings and beliefs. But this also makes her quite stubborn. Once her mind is set on something it's very difficult to get her to budge, even if it's something she knows she might be wrong about.

When it comes to relationships, Koliwe is very loyal once her trust is gained. Her trust isn't gained easily as early on in her travels she was quite naive and taken advantage of because of this. She has since learned from her mistakes and tries to keep new acquaintances at arms length while still remaining amiable. She does not deal with hurt or general wrong-doing towards her well. She is likely to hold a grudge which can cloud her judgement.

Family

L'neneh Nunh: Koliwe's father and role model. She had always taken more after him than her mother in both looks and personality. Neneh was the wild child growing up. He dreamed of adventure, becoming a nunh wasn't on his mind much. But it happened and he does his best to live up to the title and be a good example. Koliwe and him had always been close. He saw a lot of himself in her and was supportive of her decision to leave and pursue her dreams outside of the tribe. She thinks very highly of her father and misses him a great deal.
L'adahl Oya: Koliwe's mother is a kind but stubborn lady. She has ambitions for her daughters inside the tribe and encouraged her eldest to become a hunter. However, such ambitions were not shared by Koliwe. Adahl was very upset when she found out that Koliwe went to Neneh to get his approval to leave the tribe and didn't bother to discuss it with her. Adahl was further upset, but this time with Neneh, when he gave his support. Koliwe was not on good terms with her mother when she left and it's something that still troubles her.
L'iloni Neneh: Younger sister of Koliwe and the middle child of Adahl and Neneh. At fifteen years-old, Iloni is soft of heart and easily one of the nicest young ladies you'll ever meet. She's very naive, which at times can be quite endearing but leaves her open to being taken advantage of. Iloni was very upset when Koliwe left the tribe, but still understood her older sister's reasons for doing so. She believes that one day Koliwe will come back, though she's the only one holding onto those beliefs.
L'rhen Neneh: Koliwe's youngest sister, Rhen is a ten year-old who thinks she can take on the world. Like her eldest sister, Rhen takes more after their father with her thirst for adventure. She's often torn between wanting to be a hunter, a pirate, or a hunter-pirate, maybe even a pirate hunter! Rhen is loud and rambunctious, which upsets the girl's mother but amuses her father.
