Character
General
Named after his mother's home clan and his father's adaptation on his last name, Lee Hesperos is a rather peculiar fellow. Both his parents had large influences on Lee's life from a very young age. His mother, a skilled archer and beast tamer, trained him to live off the land and how to train beasts to become companions and his father, a military trainer and weapons specialist, taught him about every physical weapon he could. Lee showed to be a protege from a very young age due to his father's influence and keen ability to keep focused thanks to his mother.
Lee went on to become a well known trainer and strategist. He is often found in a study, reading up on old tactics and figuring out how he could apply them or in the wild with his pet black coeurl as he tries to find rare creatures to become friends with.
Appearance
Tanned skin from being out in the sun for long periods of time while taming wild beasts. The vigorous trainings of soldiers as well as dodging killer beasts lead to dense and agile muscle.
Lee has naturally gray hair much like his father. He chooses to wear it a little messy with a bit of it casting over to his right side. It doesn't take him long in the morning to fix it but it does get rather messy when not treated correctly and kept in check. His eyes are a bright yellow, much like his mother's. His tail is long and narrow coming to his calves. His body has various scars and a large tattoo of a panther running through what looks like a sea of clouds and ancient writings that starts on the left side of his back and wraps around his left arm.
He is often seen in various armor sets but seems to always have a special bracer on his left arm. He also always wears a mask wherever he goes, but hardly anyone knows why. He hardly ever wears casual clothing mainly because he works so much that he usually goes from work to home and passes out.
Personality
Lee is very laid back when in public, often masking the fact that people didn't connect with him like most beasts did, but he does his best to keep on a positive outlook. When alone, he is quiet and reserved, often mediating to clear his head. He is a true introvert at heart but has been making an attempt to go out and enjoy company rather than put on a professional face.
He is at his happiest when he is out in nature, enjoying the sunshine and the creatures alike. He finds the most beauty at night when looking at the stars. Wherever the stars are brightest that night, you can expect to see Lee sitting there and watching them for hours on end, as if making sure that they are not in danger.
In combat he is calm, calculating and deadly serious. When it comes to life and death situations, even if it is one person, he does not let himself slip and will try his hardest to make sure everyone comes back alive.
Strengths
Lee is a great teacher and leader. He often sees things from other angles, calculates the best case scenario and executes the task. He often takes in worst case scenarios into consideration before making a call, always making sure he has a backup plan if something were to go wrong. Stressful situations do not seem to bother him, often able to take a few breaths and keep calm. He is an innovator with both new and old strategies that he can change around based on the kind of situation he is in.
He is also a capable fighter with any weapon. He relies on controlling the situation in order to come out on top of the fight. He is patient and methodical, willing to read the opponent until he has the solution or learns the patterns.
Weaknesses
Lee is susceptible to mental attacks, having experienced a lot of tragedy in his life. Things that trigger certain memories will cause a few couple reactions: He freezes or hesitates, he gets enraged, or he goes completely emotionless and focuses purely on his target eliminating anything or anyone in the way.
He can be quite obsessive and is hard on himself. He lives for his jobs and expects perfection of anything he does.
Combat
Lee is a calm and collected strategist when it comes to combat. Depending on the weapon he is wielding, he changes up his fighting style, but his most notable one that he is perhaps most known for is his grapple fighting.
Inside the specialized bracer on his left arm lies a aethertech device that shoots out grappling hooks allowing for various uses. He uses it mainly for mobility but also uses it to grapple up to large monsters or to pull him in close when he is slightly out of range.
He is a skilled combatant in all weapon forms but lacks a strong magical talent. He has a basic knowledge of summoning and has learned how to store weapons and summon them when needed rather than carrying them all at once.
