Closer, now. His heavy head lifts up, and there are dark shadows under his eyes, deep and tunnelled. The planes of his young face are limned and cut with scratches, the fresh, crimson welts of branch and under-brush. He curls his calloused fingers into his bloodless fists. By night, he’s wan; by daylight, he’d be wanner yet.
Something in him has been hollowed out long ago.
General ↠
+ Ito is a hungry and lonely Keeper wanderer in the Shroud. He’s tall, and has a starved look. Muscle and sinew ripple under his skin.
+ He has olive skin, a little pallid from forest living. His face is dusted with light freckles that blend with his complexion.
+ He’s sad, pining and dangerous – though few know how. In reality, he’s the bearer of a monstrous curse alike to the wendigo of Algonquin myth – a terrible, horned, man-shaped monster that devours any beast or man unlucky enough to cross his path in his hunger, which can never be sated. But in his sane moments, he’s a lonely and broken man, nursing many wounds, both spiritual and physical.
+ His eyes are a warm orange-brown – more lambent at night, when they appear almost phosphorescent.
+ His ears are pointed, black-brown, and thickly-furred and wolf-like.
Clothing ↠
+ He doesn’t dress very warmly in the Shroud, accustomed to the colder climates of his native Coerthas. He frequently foregoes a shirt, and sometimes only wears a hunter’s shawl draped over his shoulders – which he occasionally uses as a hood as well.
+ His only adornment is a septum ring, as well as some rings in his ears.
