Lhoabragh Dotharl
[edit]
SummaryKnown as 'The Demon of the East' to Garleans, Lhoa (pronounced: LOW-uh) hails from Doma and leads a rag tag band of mercenaries, pirates, and brigands that will take any job as long as it pays. He's loud, arrogant, brash, heavily flirtatious, an even heavier drinker, and seemingly unprovokable--though he welcomes a good challenge. With his homeland leveled by the Garleans, Lhoa and his men have pitched their makeshift tents in Eorzea--taking up residence in the Mist, they currently work as muscle and military force for the Lucky Bastards. When they're not engaged in rigorous training and equally rigorous drinking, Lhoa and his Kujata do what they can to aide their fellow Doman refugees. Including, but not limited to, the merciless slaughter of anyone who flies a Garlean flag. Lhoa now forges forward into the heart of Ishgard with his men and employers, ready to stain his massive claymore with the blood of dragons. AppearanceLhoa is an outlier of his race in size and mass, boasting a height just shy of 8 fulms with arms thicker than a Miqo'te's torso and a chest as broad as a Roegadyn's. His skin is tanned and pulled taut around bulging muscles and stripes of scar tissue. His eyes are a dark ocean blue offset by his fire red mane of hair that wildly frames his black scaled and horned head. Three massive scars trace his face from left down to right--clearly the sign of an altercation with a beast much larger than himself. Despite years of military drilled discipline, his constant swagger and persistent smirk make it hard to image he ever shined a boot. Lhoa's garb speaks of his heritage--usually Doman in flavour with hints of his piratey trade littered about. The man isn't much of one for fashion, though. He's a warrior. A good set of armour and a sharp blade are all that he needs to complete an ensemble. Standard Equipment
SummaryLhoa is a man who takes every opportunity to enjoy his life while he still has time to live it. He's skirted close to death enough times to know that the blissful few seconds of peace between battles are hard won and should be celebrated to their fullest. He eats and drinks to excess, will gamble, wrestle, and fight until he's gil-less and exhausted and will still somehow find the energy to sleep with anyone he's mostly certain won't break in half from a single pelvic thrust. His bravado can be off putting to some, but for the most part he gets along with everyone. He's experienced a lot in life so there's usually something somewhere he can talk with someone about whether it's weapons, combat, triple triad tactics, or even how to roast a good boar. Despite being so boisterous he's impossibly hard to provoke--namely because he's large enough to kill just about any mortal being bare handed, so what's the point getting angry? But also because doesn't see a need for meaningless violence. Violence with meaning, though...that's another story. Lhoa relishes in violence and chaos. He takes killing very casually and won't bat an eyelash at causing his enemies undue harm and torture in lieu of a clean and quick death. The bigger the beast the better the challenge. If he dies? He died well. If he doesn't? Then may he walk away soaked in blood he drained from other men's veins. Beliefs/Philosophy
