PRESENT DAY
A member of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn who defeated one too many Primal, and found herself pulled into conflicts she had no reasons to be in and dubbed a "Warrior of Light". She chooses to continue to fight for the sake of the realm, though no one can predict for how much longer.
Quiet, with a sharp wit and a sharper smile, Lia keeps to herself. She is always eager to explore new lands and would much rather prefer to be treated as yet another adventurer.

PAST HISTORY
A daughter of Dalmasca, which now lies under conquest and in ruins, Lia does not remember her homeland. What she does remember is the madness which fuelled her mother's eventual demise, born from a passionate nationalism and desire to one day return to her home city of Rabanastre. Lia spent many years of her childhood as a nomad brought along by her mother, as the young woman—only 25 when she fled with her young daughter in hand—did her best to ensure their survival and what little comfort could be found on the road.
Upon her mother's passing when Lia was 15, the girl took up to scavenging, thievery and what little honest work could be done using the skills she picked up from near a decade as a vagabond. Led by a near supernatural sense of what one could call "luck", she managed to not only live into her twenties, but also establish herself as a respectable adventurer. In the near years following the Calamity of the Seventh Umbral Era, she was recruited into the Scions of the Seventh Dawn due to her possession of a force known as the "Echo". Her journey from there only grew more convoluted and tumultuous.

THE MUSE
Of average stature for her gender and race, she is unremarkable in every way, and is only recognizable as a Warrior of Light when she dons the armour and weapons the bards sing songs of. Lia is of the dark skin and pale hair known to the people of Dalmasca, and has inherited the blue eyes of her mother. Half-hyur, half-Keeper of the Moon, she does not spot the markings typical of the Keepers—or if she does, they are very faint against her skin. She often uses red facepaint to thinly line her eyes.
