Basic Info
Lithvia Darklight is a young Elezen adventurer at the beginning of her journeys across Eorzea and beyond. Like many Elezen she is of tall and graceful proportions, yet what begins to distinguish her from others is her long white hair, and the distinctive purple markings on her face. Undoubtedly the most unique feature about her is her heterochromatic eyes: a blue right eye and a green left eye. She has only just begun her journeys outside the safety of Ishgard at the age of 22, and her inexperience is evident from the lack of scars or wounds. Indeed, a fresh face now on the road to seek her fortune abroad.
History
Lithvia was born 22 years ago within the tranquil spires of Ishgard, the youngest of her family. The daughter of a well-to-do family, she was given an education in many subject areas, which included general topics such as mathematics and grammar, and also many classes on magical theories and practices. She would also spend much time playing with her many siblings and friends, though in all of her circles, she was known as the quiet and shy one, rarely taking the lead in any of their games. She was deeply loved by all her family members, and her siblings particularly showed this love by protecting and guarding their little sister; although they meant well, this had the side-effect of keeping Lithvia within her shell through much of her childhood and adolescence.
Thanks to Ishgard's isolationism, the Darklight family survived the great Calamity unscathed. They were among many Eorzeans who developed wanderlust and a desire to adventure across the changed world in the wake of the Calamity, and indeed several of the Darklight children, now grown, set out beyond the mountains of Coerthas to seek their fortune. Jaibenn and Lithvia were the only ones to remain behind, with Jaibenn having joined the Temple Knights, and Lithvia's shyness and inexperience prohibiting her from leaving the safety and familiarty of Ishgard. An invitation from her sister to explore Ul'dah is what finally pulled Lithvia out of isolation. This trip to Ul'dah was Lithvia's first experience with so many strange new races and cultures, and nearly wound up getting her into trouble with local brigands, except that she was saved by Sylayssa before she came to any harm.
Personality
Lithvia is a quiet, reserved and shy young woman, very much out of place around large crowds and strangers. Oftentimes she'll offer a quick smile and excuse herself out of the way, though she is not against conversation. If one is able to break her initial shyness, they may find that she is actually quite lively and outgoing when in the field on a quest, however great or small it may be. Indeed, she is not the kind to remain inside at all times; she means to find her calling and perform it to the best she can. Recently, she has taken an interest in dancing, both for her adventuring and for her amusement, which has led to a conflict of balancing her natural timidity with a profession that thrives on being the center of attention.
