Appearance
Loki is a tall Miqo'te with white eyes and ash blonde hair. He bears a red brand on the left side of his face.
Behavior
On the surface, Loki seems easygoing and carefree, but he is a deeply troubled individual. He tends to hide his emotions behind a fabricated smile, and doesn't open up to anyone easily.
Military Position
Loki is a former member of the Temple Knights in Ishgard. He resigned after the Warrior of Light defeated Nidhogg the final time, leaving Ishgard to work as a mercenary.

Loki fights with both sword and spell. He is a powerful Red Mage, capable of weaving himself in and out of battle in order to disorient his foes.

Special Abilities
Aether Sight
If his vision is obstructed, Loki can use his ability to see the flow of Aether. He sometimes wears a special hood designed to obstruct his vision for this purpose. However, he is only able to use this ability if he cannot see. He uses this in battle to aim for a person's weak spot.
Enhanced Regeneration
Since he was a child, Loki's wounds have healed very quickly. While this has come in handy, it has a limit. It was able to heal a sword wound through his stomach, but he was overwhelmed and nearly killed by a group of Gobbues. One put him in their mouth and tried to eat him, but he fired a spell down its throat.

History/Timeline
Childhood (5-12)
Loki was orphaned at age 5 when the Garlean Empire seized control of Ala Mhigo. He has no memory of his parents, other then a phrase his mother would say constantly, to this day he still quotes it when he needs reassuring: "You are the author of your own story."
Loki was taken by a resistance member and taken out of Ala Mhigo. He wound up in a caravan headed for Ishgard, but it was attacked by Dravanians.
Adolescence (13-23)
Loki woke up in Ishgard, being cared for in the Pillars. He had no memory of the attack on the caravan, and was being branded a heretic and was accused of attacking the caravan himself. He would have been sentenced to death had Edmont de Fortemps not spoken up for him. Fortemps had taken Loki in as a charge, and raised him amongst his own sons.
At 19, Loki joined the Temple Knights and remained until the end of the Dragon song War.
Adulthood (24-25)
After Haurchefaunt's death, Loki resigned from the Knights, and trained with magic until he could cast spells without uttering a word. He then began to work as a mercenary travelling all over Eorzea.
