Character

History

Born to a middle classed Ishgardian family the boy lived a meager life, sent to school to become a knight and bring honor to his family he had served one of the noble families at the time. Though there had come a day when he become knighted and was sent out to war against the dragons. It was during this time, on a mission like all the others, he had grown curious. Heretical thoughts flooded his mind, of the power brought about by the blood of drakes. But with such a thing he knew for certain, he did not wish to become a dragon, in turn he had only wished to grow in strength. As the old saying goes, use an enemy's weapon against themselves. And in turn, he did. Beginning to dabble into Alchemy he had formulated a brew he had called 'Drake Spit' in secret. When ingested it would quickly rouse the inner flames of beasts alike, causing the user to expel a mockery of dragon fire from within. The first trials had seared his throat, and the enemies about, but in time it would have been perfected. And for a time, this usage of dragon fire was a boon to the man. It was at first, that he had only used it in dire moments, but it was an addicting feeling, to be so strong as to breath the fire of drake's itself. And with one chance event he had been caught. To save a group of comrades he had used the flame itself but at what cost? To be deemed a heretic? And thus, he had fled, to flee from execution when in turn he was only protecting the home he had cared for. Now he wanders, in search of mock revenge and power. The few things he has left to grasp.

"I am no heretic, I fought for what was right, and now you condemn me? What is the difference of you to them?" -Preceeding the Drumhead Trial, Iskander.

It should be noted that if one had come from the North his story may have been altered. From a proud night to a heretic who while not morphing, could set his sword ablaze and breath fire that would melt even the strongest of plate. Iskander, or Ike as it now, would only know for certain.

Appearance

His armor is of well made Ishgardian descent, though all notable markings of affiliation are scratched off or painted over with a cheap paint to match the base of his steely armor. His sword is that of a curved blade, bound in leather it rarely sees the light of day or use for the most part. What ever he had once slayed with such a weapon that seems to be able to cut the air in a fluid grace, is no longer set to draw blood. His voice is that of sand paper, a gritty sound that while still being of Ishgardian origin sounds as if he had smoked for all his life, yet one will never see him touch one of those herbal intoxicates. For those who he graces with his actual appearance, he is a gaunt lanky looking man, a scar deeply bored vertically across his right eye is one noticeable item, though he will always claim that such stories are dull and boring. Long raven hair is tied back into a pony tail to keep fitted beneath his helm, and two rose gold ear screws are often affixed to his ears. For what reason, only he would know. His eyes are dull hollow blue, as if the world had long since given up on him, and in turn he had given up on the world. His overall expression is one of boredom, a scowl eternally set upon his face that may seem intimidating at first.

Personality

Sarcastic and dull, the Elezan seems to be hollowed from the inside out. Hidden beneath a set of plate and chain he is not all too easily angered and will often times hide his true feelings. What lurks in the man's mind is for him alone to know.

Combat

Style:

Scorched Earth: Like the winds that carry a blazing inferno through out the woods, Iskander moves much the same. Oddly quick for a man in full armor, he uses the weight backed by his curved great sword to dance around the battlefield. As if a wind cutting across a field of grass he moves. The blade itself is simple. (Think of the Nil Greatsword from Dark souls 2. The Inferno fausse is only a place holder.) Much like any other, its guards are more design for parrying, and the way it moves is clearly made for slashing. His alchemical prowess has led to the development of many brews that he may use in some variety. From Drake Spit, to Ignition dust, which he uses to light his blaze aflame like the fire that burns within a dragon's own breast he is surely a formidable foe.

Specialization:

Sword Play: With his curved sword he has mastered such techniques as parrying a blade or dancing about an enemy even despite his heavy armor. And while he is not as fast as someone out of plate, he surely can keep up for a time. This allows him to be deadly when fighting a 'squishy' enemy, as the cutting strikes against leather or cloth are surely to be effective.

Strengths:

Close ranged fighting. He will take the fight to a caster or bowman and will employ both drake spit and ignition dust to his uses, among other potent if ill-advised brews.

Weaknesses:

Those who employ speed and agility may be able to dance around him long enough to tire him out. Though, while this weakness is one of his largest, if he employs drake spit it may be wise to flee entirely or risk being lit aflame, or charred whole. Casters may easily employ lightning if they have the time to cast such a spell, as plate is a great conductor for such aetherical properties. He is also slow to a degree. Faster than a normal swordsman, but still slower than a spearman in leather. He also has a limited number of brews before he runs out.

Armour:

From a full face helm, to plate, chain mail and cloth he is heavily armored and can take quite the beating before he is willing to submit to a foe. If he becomes enraged, that particular encounter is surely to go on for some time as he begins to more and more rely on his stash of brews.
