Appearance

Lothaire (Low-Tare)stands tall, as usual for his kind. His skin is an ashen grey with a blue undertone, and his hair is pitch black and kept short and unkempt. His eyes are a striking seafoam green, and his face is covered in stubble. Lothaire is rather muscular for a magi, and keeps himself in very good shape.

History

Born in the brume to an Ishgardian whore, Lothaire watched his four siblings die of starvation and cold before his seventh name day. He considers himself lucky to be of a higher constitution then they were, and credits that an his childhood mentor with his survival. From a young age an aged hyur arcanamist in the Brume took an interest in Lothaire, teaching him what he knew. Most avoided the old man, calling him mad and a crackpot, and for the son of a whore spending time with his mentor meant being left well enough alone by the other residents of the neighbourhood. Growing up with magic meant Lothaire had a future outside of prostitution, begging and theivery, so when his mentor passed of old age, he took his grimoire and meager belongings and left Ishgard to seek fortunes elsewhere.

Personality

Lothaire is intelligent, brutally so, and he knows it. He struggles to connect with those around him, often thinking them below him if they cannot keep up with him intellect wise. He is crude, womanizing, and his sarcasm knows no bounds. He has a good heart underneath it all, but finding that part of him takes many many bouts of effort, and one wonders if it is even worth it.
