Character
General
Lucerna Sainahs, as she's now known, is the Ul'dahn Lieutenant of the Order of the Sword and Rose. She is a fierce protector, very rarely seen without her axe, Thorn. She is an excellent cook, dedicating her quarters in the Order's Hall to be a kitchen. And much to her dismay, she is a former Garlean conscript who carries the scars from her ordeals in more than one way.
Appearance
Standing at five fulm three ilm, the small Midlander doesn't appear very threatening. Her dark brown hair is worn in a distinctive short, partially braided style. Her soft hazel eyes are almost never stern. However, her body is heavily muscled. She usually stands with her joints tensed- ready to react. On the skin of her right shoulder is an intricately branded tattoo bearing symbols related to lightning thaumaturgey and voidal possession. Lucerna is very self conscious about her "mark," and always keeps it covered in public.
Personality
After extensive dehumanizing Garlean experiments and training, Lucerna has trouble seeing herself as a person and not just a weapon or device. Coupled with a strong innate kindness and desire to see others happy, Lucerna is very much a doormat. She will use herself as a Hyuran shield to protect almost anyone. The only ones who earn her fury are those who needlessly harm people other than herself.
Combat
General
Lucerna almost exclusively fights with her axe, Thorn. However, she is still a formidable opponent if unarmed. Her fighting styles tend to combine fluid stance transitions with quick, devastatingly powerful strikes. Although a gifted student in Arcanium when younger, as a result of Garlean experimentation, Lucerna can only cast magic when her mark is physically disrupted (usually by stabbing it). Due to the drastic circumstances, Lucerna only calls upon her magic for healing serious wounds.
