Ludovica Damboise was a woman born of scandal and illegitimacy. Her mother Lady Damboise was a lady of a lesser house poised to marry a knight of House Durandaire, but instead bedded a mysterious lover of common birth and had him a child instead. The affair was kept a secret, when discovered the child had no blood tie to the man she had been betrothed to, House Durandaire broke off the marriage and publicly shamed the house of Damboise, Her grandfather, furious at this realization strangled his own daughter to death, and young Ludovica managed to escape his wrath after being spirited away from the manor via a sympathetic servant.

She was given guardianship of a merchant family with no heir in Ul'Dah where she was raised from the age of seven, til the year she in which she inherited her adoptive family's business and became an independant woman.

Brief History

She did not have many friends during her childhood, of the few she had they grew apart and estranged the older they got. Despite having been born in Ishgard, she has broken all ties with the place, and Ul'Dah is her home now. She took the last name Goodfellow and dropped the Damboise name.
