Appearance & Personality

Life can be full of bizarre twists, and no two people knew that better than Hirilonde Turuphant and M'ahayi Sodachi. Originally they wer a married couple before the Calamity, raising their daughter Isilme. M'ahayi died in the Calamity, and Hirilonde was lost to the lifestream. But this fate wasn't good enough for the enemies they had made through their lives. Unsatisfied, and desiring more comprehensive vengeance the Voidsent Charon, a lifelong enemy of the two, used unknown magics to bring them both back. Hirilonde's soul, M'ahayi's bodies, and the memories of both, all crammed together in one confused package.
The transformation was not without benefits. While both were originally in their 50's, M'hiri now has the body of M'ahayi at age 26. Though her old scars remain, they are greatly faded. Amusingly (for some) she ALSO retains the results of some alchemical experimentation in M'ahayi's youth, leaving her rather prodigiously busty, something she self-consciously tries to hide with chest bindings and heavy coats or armor.
Her hair is brown, streaked with gold. Her eyes are mismatched, the right eye ice blue, with the left light green.
She prefers wearing an white armored trenchcoat of Hirilonde's, tailored to better fit her, with trousers and armored boots and gauntlets.
She favors the gunblade, a weapon Hirilonde had been learning just before the incident that created her. It's light and fast, favoring M'ahayi's smaller and lighter build, but suits Hirilonde's confrontational fighting style. She also wields a katana. She also retains Hirilonde's link to the auracite-enhanced greatsword Cruadin, though she is loathe to ever summon it, knowing what it cost Hirilonde to wield the blade.
Being the fusion of too people has taken a toll on the young woman. She often switches back and forth between Hirilonde and M'ahayi's accents, and sometimes loses track of who she is, seeing things from Hirilonde's perspective one moment, M'ahayi's the next, and often having trouble sorting out memories of events they were both present for. Occasionally she believes she IS M'ahayi or Hirilonde before she catches herself. She has opted to go by the name 'M'hiri' as much to remind herself that she is not really either person.
Afterwards some remnant of that remains, but his humor is more wistful now. He encourages others to be optimistic, but seems to have difficulty finding such optimism within himself, substituting grim determination. His observations are few and far between and only in the company of those he feels comfortable with.
She retains strong personality traits of both M'ahayi and Hirilonde, both Hirilonde's sarcasm and sense of humor, and M'ahayi's drive and determination. She has started to develop a personality all her own, however, tentatively trying to make of herself something purely and uniquely 'M'hiri'.

Biography

Creation

M'hiri's is physically M'ahayi Sodachi, who was born in Gyr Abania to the M tribe before the Ala Mihgan civil war. She left Gyr Abania as Theodric's reign became oppressive, heading to Kugane and the Far East and learning the arts of the Shinobi and Samurai. M'hiri retains the physical conditioning of that training, perhaps even somewhat better as some of Hirilonde's highlander muscle density seems to have bolstered her. However, she does not suffer from any signs of the many injuries M'ahayi suffered during her early life, the only sign of them being some faded scars.

RELATIONS

Romantic Interest Platonic Love Good Standing Poor Standing
Isilme Turuphant : Hirilonde's daughter, and his only surviving relation. He believed she had forgotten him, as did all the rest who knew him due to the effect of Flow, but because she possesses the Echo, she remembered him fully. He still finds it difficult to be a part of her life, feeling like an outsider, and typically stays to the periphery, intervening only when he is needed. When she was injured at Ralghr's Reach, he set out to avenge her on the Garlean solidier who nearly killed her, and took a more direct role in her life.
