Just some general points, will expand on this and write it more cohesively soon:

• Born to the Marmot tribe to M'umi Nuhn and M'nada Yuko (mother's name not finalised). Tribe was based in the La Noscea area.
• Has an older sister, M'luda Umi.
• Tribe split shortly after she was born. They (Nako, Luda and their mother) spent a few years in a little hamlet in Thanalan before seeking refuge in Ul'dah.
• Nako has daddy-issues and blames her Father for the troubles they've endured.
• Does not care much for the tribal ways of the Miqo'te Seekers. She keeps the M' part of her name out of respect for her mother (and partly her father, though she'd refuse to admit it). She still refers to herself as M'nako to people she doesn't know also... unless Luda has already introduced them.
• Their mother was overprotective whilst they were in Ul'dah. Nako was the rebellious one and would often sneak out and explore.
• Because she was more rebellious, she became more streetsmart than her sister.
• She had snuck into a high-class teaching class by a well respected Roegadyn Scholar often. On more than one occasion he had thrown her out. Eventually he came to respect her determination and taught her to read.
• She promised never to tell anyone he helped her, as it would land him in trouble helping a "lowborn", especially for free. As such she tells everyone she's self-taught herself to read. This may impress some but others may be sceptical of a refugee learning to read by herself.
• She wants to repay him some day
• She decided at that point that a Scholar's life was the way for her.
• She can be standoffish with strangers. But once she gets to know someone she opens up more. She's sarcastic and witty.
