Maresia Byalan, full name Sayyida Maresia bint Hamid ibn Mairizk al-Byalan al-Thavnair, is an oddity in the realm of Eorzea. Hailing from the near eastern nation of Thavnair, she was recently thrown into the turmoil of losing her family and home to betrayal... and also being thrown into the Void on top of it all. Currently, she tags along behind L'dran Cresnoble, the first person to show her any kindness in Eorzea.
