Maryel Shadowstalker is a Miqo'te with a strong sense of duty to her friends. She will fight tooth, nail, sword, magic, whatever means she has to protect them.

Appearance

With Maryel, what you see is what you get. She has never made it a habit out of trying to be something she is not. Her hair is silver and runs down to just above her shoulders.
She has no markings on her body or face, tattoo or otherwise. The only mark on her is a scar from a wound she suffered protecting a friend from wolves, which lies on her inner thigh.

History

Maryel has been mostly on her own until the last five years of her life. She was part of a free company that she led out of necessity since nobody else would, including its owner.
Leading the company proved a task for her but she was up to it. She has carried this experience with her and swore never to do it again. If the need called for it however, she would do so. ((The name of the company is withheld out of respect for those involved.))

Personality

Becoming a friend of Maryel is not usually a difficult task as long as you don't harm her or those she cares about. She is also known to get a bit lovey-dovey when in an environment she considers to be a romantic one. Maryel is a Miqo'te of the kitchen, she loves cooking above any other activity. If she is not in the kitchen, then chances are she is probably sleeping or reading one of her oodles of recipe books. She has always been an easy person to talk to, which has earned her the nickname "Catmom" among her free company. She has even "adopted" a Lalafell named Leii Lei. She hates seeing her friends in trouble or under duress so she will do what she can to comfort them.
