Character

General

Maxine Titali Natuga is the eldest daughter of esteemed merchant Greiger Natuga and mercenary wife, Kedaliese.

Appearance

Her highlander and midlander heritage leaves her taller than most of her kind but doesn't tower over many either. She has reddish orange hair and gold eyes and a body type that is well toned. Maxine keeps in good shape all the while exuding an air of grace and poise.

Personality

Maxine is very confident in everything she does, but where some see unbridled confidence others see limitless arrogance. She never hesitates to say what's on her mind and while she understands the concept of tact, she feels that there's no need for it.

With a tongue as sharp as a blade, Maxine is never bashful when it comes to making it known when she is displeased. Due to her father's status, she has always viewed herself as the most capable one in any situation. She is always willing to use her father's wealth to further her own goals and has no shame in doing so.

Combat

Maxine and her sister received extensive training from their mother with sword and shield. She is fairly competent but is by no means "special". Her aether is average as well but she has studied in Limsa Lominsa picking up some useful skills as an arcanist.

Maxine is very confident in her abilities but when it comes down to it she is very materialistic. Always relying on the most expensive equipment from the best artisans. Jewel encrusted swords, gaudy golden armor, the line between looking the best and being the best are quite blurry indeed for her.

"Only the finest" One would mistake it for her catchphrase since it can be heard so often. Despite wearing expensive plate armor most of the time, she prefers to stay light on her feet using her small yet well- trained body to dance around her prey with light attacks in quick succession.

Family

Father: Greiger Natuga Maxine and her father have a really strong relationship. Although Maxine wasn't a first born son, Greiger believes wholeheartedly that she will carry on his legacy to the utmost of her abilities. She is the heiress to the Natuga estate as well as her father's company.

Mother: Kedaliese Natuga Maxine and her mother have a complicated relationship to say the least. Despite having brought two children into the world, Kedaliese was always drawn back to her first love that being the fields of battle. She was a mercenary before a mother and Maxine had very little interaction with outside of sparring practice. She is grateful to her mother for the training yet there is still a lingering feeling in the back of her mind that wishes she had been just a bit more motherly.

History/Timeline

Childhood:

Since she was old enough to properly comprehend things Maxine has always been the studious type. By the time she was nine she had read every book that had ever been placed on the library shelves of the manor. She was three years older than her sister Clyse and always had an earful to say about what it meant to conduct oneself with dignity. When she wasn't studying she would spend time with her sister.
