- Raikemi Maira- A woman Meriel met in the quicksands when she first arrived, Raikemi was kind enough to offer her assistance in her quest of finding her brother saying she's an investigator of some sort, but ever since Meriel joined the Roots company she haven't had time to go to the quicksands to meet again as they agreed to do.
- Rufus Miller- "The knight in shining armor" as Raikemi called him, he also offered his help to Raikemi and Meriel when he accidentally heard them talking about raiders, He and Raikemi suited each other which Meriel found them cute to watch.
They didn't meet in a long time, much has happened since they last met, Meriel would love to meet him again...probably to show off her new self, and how much she's grown.

Meriel has been living in the church near Drybone for as long as she could remember, she does not know who her parents are, and how did she and her brother end up living there, she never asked, and her brother never showed any intent into telling her the story, his only words for her were "We have to stick together, Meriel, No matter what..".
