Basic Info

Although born on a small island in the Ruby Sea and raised as much in the water as she was on land, Nanami has very few, if any, memories of her childhood. She was abducted by Imperial forces in her preteen years, and from then on raised under their banner, primarily by a technician named Helena Occius. Occius immediately took an interest in Nanami and her unusual aether, which seemed to cause Nanami to fall ill quite often when in small spaces for long periods of time, or otherwise restrained, akin to claustrophobia.

Between training with Imperial soldiers and Dr. Occia inventing new and varied ways to expend her abundance of aether, Nanami became a practiced secutor--enough so that when the castrum she was stationed at came under assault, she was able to defend herself until the attackers backed her against a cliff... Nanami chose to take her chances in an unfamiliar ocean than at the mercy of an enemy force, and dove into the waters below.
