Nekhii came from a smaller tribe in the Steppe’s, best known for their belief that blood should not be spilt in vain on Nhaama’s Earth. They were easily defeated by the Dotharl through a quarrel, however, few such as Nekhii survived and fled to join the Kahkol.
When the Buduga raided her new homestead, Nekhii stood her ground. Though hesitant and meek, her chest had felt something at the sight of blood — her palms painted red from the acts of self-defense. She knew the minute she killed someone, there was something wrong with her. It was as if a curse she always had finally taken off, her late ancestors seething at the smile that crept around her lips.
Nekhii had poisoned her family’s land, but she did not beg for the Mother’s forgiveness.
So with this, she ran and hid alongside the other Auri fugitives on her way to Eorzea. She even feigned amnesia, putting the Common language quickly together - naming herself with the most basics of Hyur conventions, Delilah. She lives day by day as a peaceful retainer and botanist, but at night is another story - taking up evil duties in the dark, her sin running deep with her obsession with violence.
