Appearance & Personality

Tall and dark like many of his knismen, his red hair is in direct contrast to his skin. Nergui is a man who looks more dour than he truly is, this largely stems from his constant, stern visage. However that's just how his face rests and is rarely reflective of his mood. He has an athletic build, not too bulky, but still with substantial muscle mass from a lifetime of living in harsh places. His manner of dress typically reflects the environment he's living in, furs in the mountains, light fabrics in the desert heat. Regardless of climate, he chooses dull colors, preferably ones that blend well with the environment.

Strength is the most important thing to Nergui. Not necessarily strength of arm, but also of mind and soul. To that end, he forsakes civilization in favor of the wilderness, for he believes that life in the city makes people soft and complacent. Only by making every aspect of life a struggle can one continue to grow and be strong. Nergui went so far as to forsake his clan and name believing them to be pursuing weakness, a decision that was rather unpopular among his tribe.

Since coming to Eorzea, he's become more wary of people than he was before. A new land, with new people and cultures, ones that he does not understand and do not understand him. More than once his horns and scales have made him the target of hate, and as a result he avoids interacting with the other races when able. While experience has made him hesitant and suspicious, he lets people's actions speak for them, and should someone show themselves to be reasonable or even a friend, they shall find the same in Nergui.
